A picture that popped up yesterday on my memories made me want to share the video! Having been delayed, BR Class 7MT 70000 “Britannia” makes some noise as she passes Worting Junction on her way to Chichester with the days railtour from London Paddington, The noise from the Brit could be heard from the moment she departed the station nearly 2 miles away! Was certainly memorable performance! 👌🏻

On a rare visit down to its former stomping ground, BR Class 50 50050 “Fearless” coasts along the outskirts of Basingstoke with the coaching stock from the English Rivera Railtour and Class 57 “57302” on the 5Z47 move from Eastleigh Arlington to Southall.

Having been delayed at Wallers Ash Loop, the 50 ended up following a stopping service, so any chance of any real noise was sadly dashed 🤦🏼‍♂️

After eventful morning and night with little SouthernSteam, we needed some fresh air! With the sun out, I decided to head over to the Watercress Line and get the drone up!

First up we have Merchant Navy Class 35005 “Canadian Pacific” heading up Northside with 1100 service from Alresford to Alton, then I headed up to Wanderers Curve to catch BR Ivatt “41312” heading the 1200 service from Alresford to Alton, creating a timeless branchline scene with the Two Bulleid Coach Set.

BR Class 33 “33053” arrives into Swanage station with 1415 service from Norden whilst the LSWR T3 “563” sits in the Bay Platform on display for visitors to look over.

What a difference two weeks can make….

A wet and windy night tonight vs my view from two weeks ago, as the sunsets, Battle of Britain Class 34070 “Manston” was being warmed ready to return to service the next day, from the temporary steam ban, whilst one of the Pway Gang use the RRV Vehicles to load up some barrels down by the fuel point.

Just shows the railway never stops no matter what time of day it is! 👏🏻
