💍✨ **A TALE OF TWO WEDDINGS – PART 2!** ✨💍

Yesterday was an absolute blast celebrating the wedding of the wonderful **Gemma & Helen at the beautiful Emlyn Hotel**! 🥂📸

From the moment this fabulous couple first met with me, I knew we were going to have a LOT of fun. Two incredible, hiking-loving, spaniel-obsessed ladies who were completely up for a giggle, embraced the chaos and trusted me with all of my mad-cap ideas… basically, my kind of people! 😂❤️

And then there was the Welsh weather. 🌧️

Because apparently, the rain had decided it wanted to be invited to the wedding too!

But Gemma & Helen didn't let a few downpours get in the way of their day. When the rain put a temporary stop to their confetti plans, they simply went with the flow — and we found a rather fabulous solution…

And honestly? It was bloody brilliant.

There was so much laughter, dancing, emotion and absolute joy throughout the day. We were entertained by the unforgettable **Cyril and his legendary spaniel tie** 🐶😂, shared plenty of laughs, and even shed a few tears along the way.

Because these two have already battled a fair bit of weather — quite literally!

Alongside planning a wedding, they've been busy moving to Wales, renovating a house, taking on an enormous race/swim/run adventure around the world, and welcoming a spaniel into their lives who, I suspect, keeps them very firmly on their toes! 🐶❤️

So yesterday wasn't just about celebrating a wedding.

It was about celebrating **everything that brought these two amazing women to this moment** — their adventures, their resilience, their love, their friendship, their laughter and the life they're building together here in Wales.

Gemma & Helen, thank you for trusting me with your day, embracing every one of my slightly bonkers ideas, dancing in the rain, laughing until our faces hurt and allowing me to run around like a **very happy little goblin in the puddles**. 😂🌧️📸

It was an absolute honour to capture your wedding, and I hope these photographs bring back every ridiculous, emotional, hilarious and beautiful moment for years to come.

Here's to a lifetime of adventures, muddy hiking boots, spaniel hair, questionable weather, enormous challenges, ridiculous laughter and **a whole lot of love.** ❤️

💍✨ **A TALE OF TWO WEDDINGS!** ✨💍

Yesterday was one of those days that reminds me exactly why I love what I do… because we had the absolute pleasure of photographing **not one, but TWO fabulous (albeit wet) very special wedding days!** 🥂📸

Laurie & Stephen came to us at the last minute after being unfortunately let down by their original photographer, who had sadly gone completely AWOL. 😔

Now, this isn't the first time we've been called in to help in a photography emergency, and it certainly won't be the last! Over the years, as a recommended supplier, we've stepped in on many occasions to make sure couples aren't left without someone there to capture one of the biggest days of their lives.

And that's exactly what we did yesterday — **we turned up, got stuck in, and captured the love!** ❤️

Laurie and Stephen tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at their local church before heading off to their local rugby club to celebrate with their wonderful family and friends.

And let's talk about that Welsh weather… 🌧️😂

The rain really did try its absolute best to steal the show, but it clearly hadn't met **Laurie & Stephen!** Nothing was going to dampen their spirits. There were smiles, laughter, love, happy tears and plenty of those gorgeous little moments that make a wedding day so incredibly special.

Because ultimately, that's what it's all about.

Not perfect weather.
Not perfect hair.
Not perfectly behaved guests. 😂
Just **two people who love each other, surrounded by the people who love them most.**

And THAT is where the magic happens. ✨

Laurie & Stephen, thank you for trusting us to step in and capture your day at such short notice. It was an absolute pleasure, and we hope these photographs bring back all the laughter, emotion and happy chaos for many, many years to come.

✨🌈 **WHAT. A. DAY.** 🌈✨

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the wedding of the gorgeous **Jess & Eleri** at the utterly stunning **Ty Glyn** — and WOW, what a way to spend a day🖤🤍

This was my **first ever wedding at Ty Glyn**, and what a beautiful introduction. The surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, the atmosphere was incredible, and despite the Welsh weather deciding that sunshine was apparently *far too much to ask*, we made the most of every single moment! 😂🌧️

From the very first time I spoke to these two, I knew they were **my kind of people**.

Hilarious? ✔️
Sarcastic? ✔️
Warm, friendly and completely themselves? ✔️
Absolutely, ridiculously in love? **DOUBLE ✔️✔️** ❤️

Jess and Eleri had that wonderful kind of connection where you don't just *see* the love between them — you can practically feel it in the room.

Surrounded by their amazing family and friends, plenty of entertainment, an absolutely lovely celebrant and enough laughter to fill the entire venue, these two had the most incredible day.

And let's just take a moment for **Cerys's speech**...

I am STILL not over the story of the **angry cockerel**. 😂😂😂
Honestly, I wasn't emotionally prepared and I may have snort laughed at one point

The whole day had such a gorgeous **black-and-white Vogue-inspired vibe**, and with the stunning surroundings at Ty Glyn, I was absolutely in my element.

Of course, then came the rain. 🌧️

So what do you do when you're a wedding photographer in Wales?

**You go outside anyway.**

We braved the storms, danced around on wet grass (sorry, Jess 😂), laughed our way through it and created some seriously gorgeous images in the process.

And honestly? Those are often my favourite moments.

The perfectly imperfect, slightly chaotic, completely *you* moments that you'll look back on years from now and remember exactly how it felt to be there. 🖤

Jess & Eleri — **you two are bloody brilliant.**

You are so perfectly matched, and it was an absolute honour to be there to document the beginning of this next chapter.

I cannot wait to watch you grow together as wives, continue being your wonderfully sarcastic selves, and fill your lives with even more adventures, laughter and love.

I have the best couples! OVER 400 reviews!!!

We are now CLOSED until Monday, for back to back weddings. I know, I am incredibly busy and I do adore it! especially with couples who know just how hard I work to make your day stress free, fun and full of Sarah-isms . That does not mean that I will not respond to your messages, texts, or emails- it just will take a little longer than my usual 5-10 minutes 🤣
