Established in 2004 Bethan Waygood Photography is a contemporary and vibrant photography business. My love for photography started at a quite a young age, asking my sister to sit on a stepladder, sheet draped over a curtain rail in my grandparent's front room! I still have that photograph! My interest grew while travelling at nineteen through Indonesia and Australia. It was in these inspirational
places that I enjoyed pho- tographing the diverse people I came in contact with and creating beautiful memo- ries through photography. The years that followed after University took me in a dif- ferent direction and I worked for twelve years with a pharmaceutical company, which gave me a great insight into the needs of both individual and corporate clients. My passion for photography was still prevalent and I was encouraged by family and friends to re-train as a photographer. Fortunately I listened! I have been trained by some wonderful and inspiring photographers in the UK and combining this with my passion, creativity and love of people I now feel I can offer clients a unique and personalised experience to create unforgettable photography , whether it be a lifestyle shoot , a wedding or for a business wishing to convey a bright new image for clients. I live in Mayals, Swansea with my lovely family - my husband Mark and daughter Alice and when I am not with camera in hand I am enjoying the great outdoors with family and friends, eating ice-cream and having fun. A lifestyle photography shoot is a wonderful opportunity to capture life's moments with the people we love and spend our lives with. It's a wonderful investment to have beautiful photographs that in years ahead will make you look back and smile. This is why as a photographer I love to take photographs that are natural, fun and the essence of who you are together. Photographs can be taken at your home, on location or in a studio setting. Prior to your photography session we will discuss your requirements to ensure all goes smoothly during the shoot. the day we will have fun creating great memories and photographs. I use my experience to guide the shoot without you really noticing and I hope you never hear me say 'smile' - great photographs capture life's special moments, the expressions that make us who we are and the faces that enrich our lives, without being posed. A week after your photo shoot you will be invited to a viewing to choose your photographs, be prepared to get emotional!
