A few clips from the library. The actress spinning the car had only passed her test the week before and so we helped out by making a big steel tray and chained the back wheels into that then pulled the car round with a wire, controlled and safe. I wish I had told the actor having a hole drilled through the back of his hand to move his fingers. I might as well have used a real drill bit and saved hours on the lathe creating rubber one that spun and pumped blood......and a rubber hand. The rest doesn't need much explanation really, you're unlikely to find a Victorian workshop to film in or burn down a house 🤔 well not on purpose

Ok, this is from lots of years ago but I'm still quite proud of it. It was shot on a camera which seemed to be the size of a small garden shed. I had to teach random people how to operate it for when I was in front of the camera. Slightly more interesting was trying to teach people to put me out as none of them had ever seen anyone on fire till that day. One of the fire crew on call refused to come into the set, he said he'd seen the results too many times to watch anyone set themselves alright on purpose. The car was mine I used for work right up until a week before we did this it only got rolled because it failed it's mot. If there was no such thing as mot I'd probably be still driving it today 🙃 I put 18psi in the driver side tyres and about 120 ltrs of water in plastic water barrels strapped, again, to the driver side in the back and back seats. The idea being to get some speed up pull it hard round the tyres come off the rims and dig in the water sloshes another 120kg high up on the side and it flips over. No radios and an inexperienced tracking vehicle driver meant it wasn't as tight a shot as I'd have liked. Like I said I'm still fond of it...enjoy
