Kelly Weech Photography Portrait & wedding photographer For me, creating a story is the most important aspect of my job.

My overall aim is to capture individuals’ personalities, passions and style, by opting for a contemporary approach to photography. If I am lucky enough to shoot your wedding I will cover detailed still-life shots of the decor and photographs of the bride getting ready, through to candid documentary images of the day unfolding and couple portraits with an edgy fashion twist. I prefer to photograph

the wedding as an occasion, a story unfolding from before the ceremony through to the fun of the reception, capturing the natural rather than the posed. Every wedding is unique and this will be reflected in your photographs. I like to maintain an unobtrusive style and will make the best of the time available so you are not away from your guests for long periods.

Not your typical wedding venue, but oh my, how perfect it was!

From a home-to-home feel, an intimate garden wedding ceremony, to a stunning marquee in the long grass, this wedding wasn’t made up of one big moment, but all the little ones inbetween.

The glance across the drinks reception.
Your bridesmaids making you cry with laughter.
A hug that lasts a little longer than expected.
Champagne in hand as the sun starts to drop.
Ten quiet minutes together while everyone else carries on celebrating.

Those are the photographs that truly become priceless.

The ones that take you straight back to how it all felt.

That’s always what I’m chasing.

At the beginning of the last heatwave, Julia & Jonathan fully embraced the heat at and what a day it was!

Here are my top tips for any couples getting married this week when the heat wave returns:

- Embrace the weather rather than fight it. If it’s going to be hot, plan for it instead of hoping it won’t be.

-Keep everyone hydrated. Water stations & bottled water on each chair for the ceremony is always appreciated.

- Create opportunities for shade. Parasols, garden games under the trees or plenty of seating give guests somewhere to escape the midday sun.

- Trust your photographer. We’ll know when the light is at its best. If the afternoon sun is harsh, we’ll keep portraits short and head back out for that dreamy golden hour later.

-Wear what makes you comfortable. Swap heels for flats, loosen the tie, grab the sunglasses… no one remembers perfectly polished, but everyone remembers genuine joy.

Don’t let the weather become the story.

One whole week since this glorious day at

The hottest day of the year… and proof that while you can plan every beautiful detail of your wedding, the one thing you can’t plan is the weather!

Whether it’s rain, wind, or a summer heatwave — it’s all about adapting, slowing down and making the day work around you.

For these two that meant finding pockets of shade, taking little breaks, keeping portraits relaxed and making the most of that gorgeous evening light.

Because your wedding day isn’t about everything being “perfect” — it’s about being present, enjoying every second and trusting the people around you to capture the magic exactly as it unfolds.

And what an amazing day this one was!

4 things that make my approach a little different.

- I edit with what matters most to you in mind. Yes, my work has a timeless style — but I’m always looking for the emotional connections, the people and the moments that hold the most meaning in your story. I don’t cut your photographs to a particular number and always over deliver and include both colour and black & white if you like both.

-I become emotionally invested in your day. I care deeply about how your wedding felt, not just how it looked. The happy tears from your mum, your best friend fixing your dress, your grandparents watching quietly from the back — those moments matter to me too.

- I’m always capturing the in-between moments. Alongside your photographs, I’m happy to film little behind-the-scenes clips throughout the day so you can relive the atmosphere, movement and emotion in an even fuller way. I even bring an old school video camera for the wedding party to enjoy and no extra cost.

-I’m more than “just” your photographer. I’ll pin buttonholes, fluff dresses, find bouquets, calm nerves, keep timings flowing and cheer you on all day long. I’m there to support you however I can so you can stay fully present and actually enjoy your wedding day.

I think the biggest thing is… I never want your wedding to feel performative. I want it to feel like yours. Relaxed, emotional, joyful and fully lived in.

Wow… what a weekend

Jess & Vikram brought together two cultures, two beautiful ceremonies, four incredible outfit changes, and the kind of energy that makes me love what I do over two fabulous days.

From emotional moments to packed dance floors, amazing food, colour, tradition and so much joy woven into every part of the weekend… this one was special.

A true celebration of two families, two traditions, and one very wonderful couple.

Great to work with and thank you to the lovely coordinators. Look forward to returning later this year.

Lauren & Rob’s wedding this weekend was the kind of day that stays with you long after it’s over… vibrant, emotional, and completely their own.

From rich Indian traditions to Scottish touches woven throughout, every moment felt intentional — a beautiful fusion of heritage, family, and personality. The energy? Unmatched. The laughter? Constant. The dance floor? Absolutely wild.

But what stood out most was them.
The way they balance each other. Effortless, joyful, and completely in sync.

This wasn’t about following tradition — it was about creating something that felt right for them. And that’s exactly what made it magic.

A true celebration of love without limits.

Spring bringing the kind of day that just felt good from start to finish.

No rushing, no overthinking… just the two of them soaking it all in, exactly as it should be.
