Brides and grooms to be - Let’s talk LIFTS! 🏋🏽
Love or hate them, they seem to be something that has featured in wedding photography for decades.
If you shy away from them for fear of embarrassment or just because you think it can look staged, know they don’t have to be either of these things! Lifts can be casual, spontaneous and fun, just like these examples.👆🏻 but you also don’t have to do any, at ALL!
Your pre wedding consultation with me is perfect for discussing things like this, and even trying out the things you’re not sure you want to do on your wedding day, so you don’t have any awkward or uncomfortable moments on your big day. Your photos should reflect your truest selves - so never feel pressure to do something you don’t want to by your photographer, or anyone else.

Swipe to see the before and afters on these two gorgeous golden hour shots. 🌝 I’ve actually never posted a before and after on here. I think maybe because I’m slightly nervous to to share the reality of the before? But sometimes I feel it’s important to show how much work is photographers put into creating your perfect gallery, not just with how we use light and but also things like getting rid of these horrible traffic cones that were tied to the bridge!! All part of the process that people don’t see. 🤗💫
