Sorry I've not posted much, still feeling very upset with losing B.. I've been to Bulgaria in the interim for our annual wildlife photography holiday, I'll post some photos in due course, it was a good distraction, until I come home and then the missing B starts again :-( . Riv has also been missing B, she was there since day one, not only was B a great mother figure, a wonderful teacher but the best sister to Riv, so it must be a massive loss for her too, she has stopped expecting her to come through the door now. This weekend Riv had her friends come stay and one of them is another pointy, she just loves her friends visiting and you can see her little tail wag so much... so we've had a lovely weekend and had two lovely beach walks... 💚🦔❤️ Hedgehogs are really struggling at the moment. The ones being brought into rescue are weak, starving and dehydrated. If you are able to, please leave out shallow bowls of clean water and some meaty cat or kitten biscuits

Dave Norton @ Tenby camera club

'Inside my head'

This Thursday, at Tenby Camera Club, we welcome Dave Norton to St Florence Village Hall. Creativity is all about imagination, experimenting, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun. That's what I love about this genre. My wife says, "I don't know what goes on inside your head", hence the title of my talk! Dave is sure to inspire us all to great creative images of our own. I am really looking forward to this one myself. Thursday, April 30th. Doors open at 7pm, 7.30 start, guests welcome £4.00 to include tea & coffee, biscuits.

Thank you to every single one of you that has taken the time to leave a comment under my previous post. We've read all the comments over and over through our tears, it means a lot. We are overwhelmed by the love you have all shown for B. We are still breaking our hearts and missing our girl terribly. Both of us dreading feeding times as B was so vocal, dreading walks, dreading coming into the house, dreading waking up... we know it will get easier. B had the most wonderful life and adventures, we know this, but for us at the moment it doesn't take away the pain, time will heal, we know. As for Riv, she is unsettled at times and keeps looking, expecting to see her big sister and most wonderful mentor trot in (we didn't take Riv to the vets with us as it wasn't the outcome we were expecting), this photo of B was taken just a few days ago, so at the moment for her it must feel like B is just out of the house and due to come home. So please give all your dogs an extra cuddle and have some fun, a beach walk, an icecream, a boat ride... and most of all take lots of photos to remember those wonderful memories. Its thanks to B that I got into photography. Now we are just concentrating on Riv (and Mavvy cat). ###

Yesterday we lost B, sadly she had a seizure and there was no way back. We are both really struggling at the moment, struggling to come to terms with her not being here. We just can't believe we are not going to see her again. She had been a huge part of our lives for 14 1/2 years...for those people who don't get dogs, believe me, the grief we feel is like no grief we've ever felt.
