We’ve welcomed quite a few new followers recently, and had the pleasure of meeting lots of new couples too, so we thought it was probably time to reintroduce ourselves.
We’re Rugile (Rue) & Philip, the husband-and-wife team behind Rosewood & Pearl.
Rue is very much the creative eye of the business. From styling and design through to our watercolour artwork, bespoke illustrations and handmade faux floral arrangements, she is behind many of the details that make each wedding feel personal. She is also usually the person behind our emails and the one you’ll meet during many of our initial consultations, working with couples from those first ideas through to the finer details.
Philip focuses more on the practical and operational side of the business. He makes our bespoke signage boards and wooden structures, as well as looking after much of the logistics, deliveries, stock, sourcing, pricing and accounts. He is usually the one working out how an idea can actually be built, transported and installed at a venue.
In reality, there is plenty of crossover. We both plan, price, set up, pack down and make decisions together, and most wedding days are a real team effort.
Rosewood & Pearl has grown considerably over the last couple of years, but it is still very much the two of us behind the emails, the vans, the designs, the workshop, the styling and everything in between.
