Lauren hails from the north east, the home of Greggs. So, in homage to her roots, each wedding guest (and photographer) was equipped with a tasty hot Greggs sausage roll. (There was a full wedding breakfast at Oxford Town Hall subsequently)!

Lauren is a trained dancer, so it was a doddle to get her to twirl in her sensational dress. John-Luke is not a trained dancer, hence his admiring spectating, although he cut a very stylish figure during their first dance together later in the day.

Carole and Noel celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently. They are keen ballroom dancers, and as a special treat for all their guests, they invited their teachers, World champion ballroom dancers, Mark and Olga Elsbury, to give a demonstation for their guests.

All I can say is - boy, do they move fast and cover a lot of ground?! Very exciting to watch.

At the end of the display, they danced with Carole and Noel - which was also exciting!

Happy anniversary to you both.

I had the best time last week, when I was asked to photograph a corporate day for local company Boxtec.
Key attraction for the day was a Boxtec sponsored Ginetta race car positioned in the car park. I photographed some of the delegates with the car, but I also loved taking all these detail shots. What a fabulous machine.

I believe it was Maya Angelou who said " One can tell the devotion of a new husband when he escorts his bride to the loo through the rain" Or at least, it was something like that.

Couples often obsess about the weather prior to their wedding day, but there is nothing that can change it, and they are almost always a great deal of fun. The photos will just be a little different.

I love this moment as Alice and Antony hide away from their guests in a tiny doorway, waiting for them to convene for the confetti throw. The umbrella was a necessary precaution, although fortunately not required for the throw

Hannah and Matt married at the wonderful Dorney Court last month. The Tudor manor house makes an impressive backdrop, and the food and service was excellent. Thank you both, for asking me to be a part of your lovely day.

Alice and Antony’s wedding took place a couple of weeks ago, on the only wet day in a month. As you can see, that did not diminish the enjoyment a jot. Depicted here, a bunch of (mainly) guys in morning suits, competing to catch a tennis ball in the rain at dusk. Great sport!
