Being responsible for your friend’s wedding photos is really terrifying... and incredibly special.
Being there for her wedding day, camera in hand, helping get ready and drive her to the registry office made it feel even more special.

NEWBORN AVAILABILITY UPDATE 🤍

There are SO many babies coming through my studio doors this month and next 🥹 and with Christmas Minis starting in just 5 weeks, my diary is officially looking a little crazy 😬😂

So just a little heads up if you’re currently expecting — I now have no newborn availability left for September or October due dates.

I’m currently taking bookings for November & December due dates, and I’d really recommend booking before baby arrives rather than waiting until they’re here. Your session doesn’t need a fixed date yet — we book around your due date and arrange the actual session once baby arrives. 🤍

It feels slightly mad talking about November and December babies already… but apparently that’s where we are 😂

This is what I love about photographing families with little ones — you never quite know what you’re going to get. 😂💜

Running through the lavender, cuddles, a few seconds together… and plenty of personality in between.

She booked this session with me while I was on holiday and sent me ONE photo as an idea of what she wanted.

A business shoot for her beauty business, but not serious or formal. Something a little more artistic and different.

Then she walked into my studio… and I immediately had about 100 other ideas 🤣

We started with the plan and then it quickly became “wait, let’s try this… OH, and this… and I need you over here…” 😂

And she just trusted me with everything.

Gosh, this session was HOT 🔥 I honestly didn’t want to stop photographing her.

I came home, picked a few photos for a quick preview and sent them over…

And her reply was:

“I’m so beautiful 😩”

And THAT. That’s the bit I love.

Not “the photos are beautiful.”
“I’m so beautiful.” 🥹

Yes. You bloody are. ❤️

I need more women in my studio for sessions like this.

Today’s weather is making me miss summer a little bit 🥹

So I went back to this gorgeous evening with Lily and her boys in the sunflower field.

It was SO warm, the sun was absolutely beautiful, and we had that perfect golden light right until the end. 🌻☀️

Looking at these now, I can almost feel that summer evening again.

I’m definitely not ready to say goodbye to summer yet 😬

I have a problem… I get bored of my own studio 😂

And the funny thing is, I LOVED how it looked before. I still do. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

But after photographing in the same space over and over again, eventually my brain starts going… what if I move this? What if I take that away? What if I change EVERYTHING? 😬

So that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

More fabric, more texture, different little corners and a bit more space to change things depending on who I’m photographing. 🤍

And now that I’ve finally finished it… I’m about to take it all apart for Christmas. 😂🎄
