The toughest and the deepest.
Wintertime overlooking Wastwater towards Scafell massif which include Scafell pike-the highest mountain in England at 978 metres (3209 ft) and Wastwater is the deepest lake in England, reaching depths of 79 metres (258) ft deep.
Unlike many of the lakes in the lake district national park such as Windermere or Derwentwater, Wast Water is famously remote and fairly uncommercialised with no motor boats allowed and and very little tourst infrastucture such as Windermere and Keswick.. So If peace and quiet in the lakes is what you want, this is the location to be.
