Huge congratulations to Pip & Adam 🎉🥰📷.

The Buttery & Glasshouse in Sevenoaks provided the most incredible venue for Pip and Adam's very special day on Thursday. From the ambient lit intimate buttery barn ceremony room to the glasshouse decced with flowers and limoncello shots, we had wonderful sunshine for a little walk around the front of the venue - enjoying the beautiful daffodils (my favourite!), the friendly toot of cars congratulating the newly weds and the cast iron gate and gorgeous heavy brick walkways through the village entrance.

Wonderful working alongside the lovely Kate Waller again (make-up).

And a lovely first working alongside another Vicky (content creator). We had the best time with a fantastically fun couple (and equally fun, cheeky guests!) absolutely up for anything! Pip & Adam dancing in the field during Golden Hour was an unforgettable highlight 😍🤩📷🎥.

Huge thank you to Chloe (wedding planner) for looking after us and keeping us updated on all timings / itinerary - made a world of difference and helped us maximise every opportunity to be snapping away 🤩.

The best start to my wedding season!!!!!!! 🎉🥰

Boss your confetti shot!!!!! 🤩🎉

To boss your confetti shots like my amazing bride Lucy and aim for the best pictures on your wedding day, here are some suggestions:

🎉 Walk slow and keep your head up. It's tempting to look down as you get showered with confetti but remind yourself not to 😉.

🎉 Look confident and proud (love Lucy holding her bouquet in the air!) I also suggested a little kiss half way through the tunnel which looked super romantic 🥹.

🎉 Bring LOTS OF CONFETTI. A little sprinkle will hardly show up in your pictures. Imagine it as every guest should have a big handful.

🎉 Be environmentally kind and consider not getting packaged confetti (plastic bags / paper cones). Some guests despite being asked, fling these in the pictures which to be frank looks a bit rubbish! Get a bridesmaid or kids to go around with a basket instead.

🎉 Resist the urge to spit out the confetti if it goes in your mouth (it's likely to!) or look disgusted by it resting on your face / especially your tongue. It can be tempting for some people to look horrified at confetti in the face / in their mouth but it doesn't look the most flattering in the pictures! Keep smiling, ignore it wherever it ends up on your person, enjoy and you can de-confetti when you're photographer has captured the tunnel 🤩.

Brilliant bridesmaid reveal!!! 🤩📷

I absolutely love setting up bridesmaid reveals for first look of the bride in her wedding dress!!!!!! This often includes parent reveals prior to the bridesmaids being captured.

The reactions to Rachel's big reveal were absolutely priceless.

What was really sweet - you see the pink mobile phone being held by the bridesmaid on the end.....this was actually another bridesmaid who had an accident and couldn't attend but was still able to watch and share Rachel's special moment 🥹💖 (I managed to capture her reaction on the mobile phone too just after this shot 😉).

Love capturing couple portraits at The Plough & Barn at Leigh 🥰📷.

During our pre-meeting (around 6ish weeks before the big day) we walk around your wedding venue (no matter how many times I have captured it!) and we look at what you love about the venue, what is important to you and all your preferences for the day.

We always talk about our planned couple portraits for the wedding day so we aren't scratching our heads, we are ready to go and I have listed all your favourite settings and backdrops. We enjoy a leisurely walk - me often keeping quite far back on my lovely long lens. It's a really special time as often the only time my couple have on their own until their wedding night 🤣. Time to decompress everything that has happened, let the nerves slip away and enjoy your first time together on a stroll as Mr & Mrs / Mrs & Mrs / Mr & Mr.

Of course - I am here to offer gentle, guided art direction so we achieve the most natural, flattering portraits.

Happy Valentine's Day 🥰💖🌹

Whether you're going on a romantic long walk, receiving / gifting to the one you love, cooking an extra special meal, like me watching Gladiators with the hubs, kids and pup(!) or even popping the question (now we're talking!!!)......have a wonderful special day 😍.

To my couples getting married this year....I know this is an extra special Valentines. Last one before becoming Mr & Mrs / Mr & Mrs / Mrs & Mrs....eek!

This bride-dad reveal!!!!! 📷🥹

Katy's dad gave her the biggest hug when he finally clapped eyes on her - I was wiping away the tears myself.

We discuss your preferences for bridesmaid and dad dress reveals at our wedding photography pre-meeting. This happens around 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. I art direct it so everyone is in the perfect position so we capture really beautiful moments like this one 🥰📷.
