Yay! I remembered to do the 2nd Friday Faves. ๐ We're off to a good start but I'm sure I'll forget in the future. ๐
This photo is from Sarah & Jorge's wedding at the beautiful Tavistock Town Hall.
It's not often that I post black and white photos - I embrace colour in my work and it feels more 'on brand' to share colour images online.
But I do deliver every single photo in both black and white and colour to my clients, so if you're a fan of monochrome then fear not. ๐
Anyway, why do I love this photo? Well, it's full of emotion. In the foreground, the Bride and Groom are beaming with happiness. And in the background, the Groom's sister, shedding happy tears. ๐ฅฒ
In my early days of wedding photography, I don't think I looked beyond the Bride and Groom as much as I should have. The couple marrying were the focus of most photos, but throughout my 14 year career, I learned to look beyond. To find the story.
Jorge's family flew over from Spain for the wedding day - they don't see each other often and it meant so much to everyone, to all be celebrating together. This photo shows that story. โค๏ธ
