One thing I noticed while editing my photos from the British Flyball Association Outdoor Championships is just how much the dogs’ expressions vary.

Some have goofy happy faces, while others are completely focused & determined like this from Be Right Back Flyball Team

I love that amongst all the speed and action, you get these little glimpses of their character especially when they’re normally just a blur of speed and fluff flying past.

Friendship & teamwork 🐾

Although I enjoy capturing action shots, some of the favourite moments I love to capture are the quieter ones, the connection & trust between the dog and their owner.

Wow August!

And it’s not even the end of the month yet!
I will definitely be sharing some reels of what I’ve been up to so far from flyball championships, working dog training to a lovely dog portrait session.

But whilst I have 2 minutes free, I thought I would quickly share one of the 1000’s of photos I took at the British Flyball Association Outdoor Championships where I was selected to be a BFA official championship photographer working in a team along with 4 other talented photographers.

I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ve been selected as one of the official photographers for the British Flyball Association Outdoor Championships 2026! 📸🐾

This is such an amazing opportunity and I’m so grateful to the British Flyball Association for placing their trust in me.

I also want to say a huge thank you to everyone at Two Bridges Flyball for all of your support, encouragement and friendship over the years. I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today in the Flyball world without you and I’m so thankful.

I can’t wait to capture all the excitement, teamwork, and unforgettable moments at this year’s championships!

Some of the best moments are never posed.

This image is one of my favourites from the recent SW Golden Retriever Club working dog test day.
A quiet, candid moment between owner and her dog that beautifully captured the trust, connection they share.

For me, I love to capture these as it’s often these little in-between moments that tell the real story. 🐾
