Shelter From the Storm 🌧️

I captured this in Topsham last year, during a time when my dad had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Bob Dylan was his all-time favourite musician, so naming it after his song felt instinctive.

Churches are often shelters in moments of turmoil, and that’s how I saw it then. The dark edit reflects that period for me, the clouds almost resembling smoke, heavy and unsettled.

It’s not a perfect piece of art, but it carries meaning. And I believe art has to speak to the artist… otherwise, why bother? 💜

Practice makes joy 🐦✨

This was a practice shot of a gorgeous robin.

Robins are one of my absolute favourite birds, and I got so much joy from trying to capture this little one. I even got a tiny song out of it while I was shooting, proper moment I won’t forget.

Sometimes it’s not about perfection, just being present with nature and enjoying the process ❤️
