Wildgoose Photographics Award Winning Family Portraiture and Commercial Branding Photographer in South Northamptonshire I live in Northamptonshire but am happy to cover the Midlands.

I am an award winning photographer whose passion is, and always has been, photography. Originally from Matlock in the Peak District my interest in photography flourished under the influence of my great grandfather Harry Gill, a professional photographer himself, credited by the Queen, who inspired me to start up my own photography business. I started out as a freelance Motorsport photographer back

in 1998 and have already had the buzz of seeing my photographs in motor sport magazines. Returning to my background in photography in 2014 after a break for family - I am now the mummy of twin girls - my expertise is now in family portraiture. Together, my daughters and I, enjoy the great outdoors on a regular basis hunting out beautiful locations for my bespoke family portraiture collection. Our world is such a beautiful place and to me, a photograph outside in natural light and surroundings, is worth a thousand times more than the stark, clinical background of a studio. I am open to hearing the client’s ideas for what their perfect location might be to record memories in a place that is dear to them - whether it is a favourite woodland walk, a colourful garden, a tinkling stream or in the grounds of an ancient building. I find my clients are more comfortable in surroundings that are familiar to them and that they love, thus giving your bespoke photo session a more natural feel. I have had my images shared/printed in Countryfile magazine and the National Trust magazine. I have won 7 Bronze awards with the Guild of Photographers which guarantees my work is to a high standard. My work is my passion and I will always aim to give the best service and highest quality images that I can. This year I will be looking to book more weddings which are another passion of mine and a huge privilege to cover. My wedding clients meet me at least twice before their big day, once for a pre wedding shoot at the venue and then again to go through the timings plan beforehand. I am available for outdoor family portraiture, weddings, newborn, cake smashes and commercial work. All images are creatively edited by me and either supplied on disc at full resolution, or in print leaving the client able to so decide how to share them with family and friends. Please feel free to contact me @ [email protected] for further information or to book your photo session. I look forward to working with you in the future. Lisa

If you need me at all over the next few weeks, you’ll likely find me crouched in the dirt, camera in hand, lost in a sea of violet.

There is a very specific kind of joy in placing a little one on a dappled woodland path. It’s more than just a "cute photo", it’s about that ethereal, quiet atmosphere that only exists for a few short weeks a year.

A Note on the Blooms 🌸

I always make sure our "sitters" stay right on the beaten path. It protects the delicate bluebells (which can take years to recover if stepped on!) and actually creates a beautiful natural leading line that draws your eye straight to those chubby cheeks and tiny toes.

"Nature is the best playground, and the bluebell woods are its most beautiful classroom."

Do you have a favourite local spot where the bluebells carpet the ground, or is it a closely guarded secret?

Watching these three navigate the magic of the bluebell woods. There’s something about the contrast of their endless energy against the quiet, still beauty of the flowers that makes every shot a keeper.

The Mission: Finding a path through the blooms without crushing a single stem.

The Reality: Finding logs to keep them still enough for the best shots.

The Result: Pure, unfiltered childhood magic.

Nature’s best backdrop for my favourite time of the year. 📸
