There’s something special about watching the first light catch the snow capped peaks before it reaches the world below. For a few brief moments, the mountains felt completely untouched; quiet, cold; Liechtenstein slowly waking up.

I’ve since re-edited these images into black and white. Removing the colour allowed the light, texture, and mood to speak for themselves.

Peace and love folks, have a lovely day ✌🏻

I had never visited Liechtenstein before, despite having travelled through every country surrounding it. This trip finally put an end to that, leading me to the striking Burg Gutenberg in Balzers.

Originally built around 1200 and later restored in the early 1900s, the castle sits against an incredible backdrop that almost feels unreal. I deliberately chose not to photograph the mountain peaks in full, as leaving them hidden felt far more powerful to me.

Sunrise on Lac de Gérardmer, France last week.
On my final morning here, the fog drifted softly across the water, wrapping this beautiful lakeside home in silence and gold. Moments like this make time stand still and make you wonder what it must feel like to wake up here every day 🤯

Peace and love folks, have yourself a lovely day ✌🏻

Well I got exactly what I was after, clear blue skies so I had to go back didn’t I 🙌🏻. I wanted clear skies as the blue nicely contrasts the yellow rapeseed field and I think it has worked out well ☺️

The crop had grown so fast that I found it incredibly hard work finding compositions that I was happy with! On several occasions the camera was held high above me, and I’m not short 😳!!

This was the best I could do with it at the time. Hope you like them ☺️

Peace and love, folks, have a great day ✌🏻

‘The Shape of a Thought’
As I sat for a while, quietly taking in the beauty of the sea, I found myself drawn into a stillness, the kind that slows everything down and lets your creative mind wander a little further than usual. In that moment, I imagined a lone figure moving through the scene, lost in thought, almost part of the landscape itself.

Not long after, that vision became real in the form of Daisy-Mae and I couldn’t believe my luck!

The haze softened everything; light, distance, even time, creating a depth that felt more like a feeling than a scene. As she walked through the tide, there was a quiet sense of introspection, as if the sea was carrying her thoughts as much as it moved around her. This image felt less like something I created and more like something I was there to witness.

You can’t head into Dorset at this time of year and not visit the lone cherry blossom tree! This stunning tree looked incredible at first light and created such a magical start to the day for me ☺️

Peace and love folks ✌🏻
