On a PR photoshoot today, we passed a pond with dragonflies darting across the water. I couldn't resist pointing the camera when one finally settled for a few seconds – just long enough for this shot. Well worth it I think!

Over the weekend, the annual Petertide Ordinations took place at Truro Cathedral, and saw 11 people ordained as Deacons and two as priests.

Photography for McDonalds this morning, at the opening of their new restaurant in Helston. Photos were needed straight away, so were processed onsite, and sent to head office. Press releases went out soon after. This is the first local story I have spotted

It's been suggested that I should put up a post about me, and who I am. Always good to get the background story. So here goes:

Hi everyone 👋

I'm Paul, and I’m the photographer behind PR4Photos.

Born, and raised, in Truro, Cornwall, I trained and received my photography qualifications in Bristol, before joining a successful photography business in Truro in 1999.

For the next decade, I worked as a press photographer for both local and national newspapers, all whilst continuing to expand my skills in the studio. In 2009, I took the leap to start my own business, PR4Photos, with a simple mission: to put my clients first and capture those unforgettable moments that tell their unique stories. Whether it’s for businesses, brands, or special events, I’m dedicated to delivering exceptional photography that makes an impact.

Yesterday was Trevithick Day, an annual celebration of Camborne, and its most famous son, Richard Trevithick.
I was asked by Camborne Town Council to photograph the event for them.
