Visual impact is an essential factor when selling or promoting your business. Professional photos should be eye catching in a way that the majority of us would be unable to achieve - whatever camera we use. Using a Professional Photographer is essential for anyone wishing to enhance their business by using dynamic high quality images in all of their promotional material.

On a PR photoshoot today, we passed a pond with dragonflies darting across the water. I couldn't resist pointing the camera when one finally settled for a few seconds – just long enough for this shot. Well worth it I think!

Over the weekend, the annual Petertide Ordinations took place at Truro Cathedral, and saw 11 people ordained as Deacons and two as priests.
This has to be my favourite image from the two services. The two Bishop's doing a selfie with the two new priests

It's always nice to be recognised, for my photography, and this one has been championed by DCA PR. It goes to show that good photography is so important when putting out a story

Most business leaders don't think they have a content problem. The marketing strategy is in place, investment is being made and activity is happening, yet the results aren't always where they should be. In this blog, we explore how photography and video can influence first impressions, support wider...

Photography for McDonalds this morning, at the opening of their new restaurant in Helston. Photos were needed straight away, so were processed onsite, and sent to head office. Press releases went out soon after. This is the first local story I have spotted

The lettering on the wall of Helston's newest restaurant started life as used coffee grounds. That recycled wall lettering is one of a long list of features McDonald's has packed into its brand-new Helston restaurant, which opened its doors today, Wednesday 3rd June. The opening has brought more

Had a great time photographing this one for Classic Cottages, and what a fantastic charity they have donated to

When two Jack Russells went missing and ended up trapped in a rabbit warren, it took a specialist team and the fire brigade to get them out. That team was Cornwall Search Dogs, and a new donation is helping them reach more lost pets and people across the

It's been suggested that I should put up a post about me, and who I am. Always good to get the background story. So here goes:

Hi everyone 👋

I'm Paul, and I’m the photographer behind PR4Photos.

Born, and raised, in Truro, Cornwall, I trained and received my photography qualifications in Bristol, before joining a successful photography business in Truro in 1999.

For the next decade, I worked as a press photographer for both local and national newspapers, all whilst continuing to expand my skills in the studio. In 2009, I took the leap to start my own business, PR4Photos, with a simple mission: to put my clients first and capture those unforgettable moments that tell their unique stories. Whether it’s for businesses, brands, or special events, I’m dedicated to delivering exceptional photography that makes an impact.

I love helping local businesses showcase what makes them unique through professional imagery that works across websites, social media, advertising, and PR.

Thanks for following along.

Yesterday was Trevithick Day, an annual celebration of Camborne, and its most famous son, Richard Trevithick.
I was asked by Camborne Town Council to photograph the event for them.
This is just a small selection of the images I took.
