Breaking up all the creamy warm goodness on my feed for some of my favourite black & whites from this year so far.

Which was VERY hard to pick just twenty.

Most of your gallery will be delivered in colour with the odd black and white.

For me, black and whites feel emotional, they are movement, they feel like everything slows down.

I don’t copy every colour photo into black and white because I just don’t feel like it’s needed.

I always feel as though a black and white image tugs at my heart strings.

And that’s why I send the select few that I do. Remembering a gentle moment between you & your family during your shoot.

That upgrade to being called Mum & Dad.

It’s hard to imagine when you’re pregnant, and so strange when babies earthside.

It suddenly hits you, you’re a parent.

A real live parent to a tiny human.

I still get moments where I think, oh my goodness I’m in charge of two whole childhoods.

The pressure is unnerving at times.

I think the main key is to enjoy your children, allow yourself to become a bit more childlike.

& the rest falls into place 🫶🏼

Your location doesn’t need to feel like a heavy decision, I’m always here to suggest locations but often the simplest ones are the best 🫶🏼

My cousin & his gorgeous girls! 💘

We weren’t sure how photos would go, Bella can be very shy in front of any camera, to the point that they had not one photo of all four of them! Until now 🥰🥰🥰

The way I chat to toddlers, the cues I give parents and the leads I give to help any child come out of their shell. I make the sessions fun, and ensure there is no pressure at all.

I’m so happy Ben asked me to do this for Steph & him, taking peoples photos is one thing but being able to do it for family just makes it that bit more special 🥹

This is happening a lot recently.

And it makes me so sad to have to turn people away, but currently my diary is booking up 2-3 months in advance.

I’ve had an increasing amount of people looking to book and perhaps baby is already born, or you’re due next week

I understand not everyone wants to book in advance, but with the way my diary is, if you’d like me to be your photographer you’re best to book after you 12 or 20 week scan.

It’s almost a double ended sword, I’m so happy to have such a full diary or clients but equally upset that I can’t take on every client.

Right now I’m booking November through to February 2027.
