Another restoration complete, this photo suffered from some serious sun fading, some light damage and the original colours that were saved by a frame had a strong red cast that needed to be removed.

Here's one of my latest projects, it's been my biggest challenge so far. It's a very typical north-east Scotland farm photo from the early 1900's, the shed is still standing and I used recent photos to match the colouring of the sandstone blockwork. The original photo was in good condition although a bit small, it needed minimal cleaning up and some sharpening before colouring. If you have any photos you'd like repaired, restored or enhanced then give me a shout for very competitive prices.

Thanks for all the likes folks! Much appreciated. Here's a photo I recently enhanced and colourised. She is Jamesina Mcwilliam from Peterhead, the original photo was taken around 1919. My starting point was a screenshot of the original photo sitting at an angle. I did not have access to the original photo. Restoration is easier with a high resolution scan but that is not always possible, it's surprising what you can work with!
