A lot of new faces and some returning names to WRPF up in Sunny Stanhope Hall! This a venue with so much powerlifting history, only seemed fitting that it had so many records broken today!

WRPF Novice League - Nottingham Strong

We are back for the first novice comp at this year! Packed flights, lots of emotions and novices giving it their all!
I’ve said it countless times but novice events are always some of the most enjoyable comps to work, as you never truly know what’s going to happen.

See you all again in Horncastle for another event!

This was a last chance competition for lifters to secure a total in prep for BUCS next month! What a weekend it was for all the lifters involved and being able to push their university teams up the .uk leaderboard 😤

WRPF West Yorkshire Qualifier ⚔️

What a way for me to dust off my camera and get back on it for 2026! 4 records set, so many celebrations and a new venue 👀

WRPF NATIONALS 2025 🇬🇧🏆

What a ride that was! 114 Records broken by the lifters, 200+ lifters at the FIRST Nationals in !

Honestly, one of the most rewarding things in my career is being involved after asked me if I wanted to lead the photography. This federation has members who genuinely care, staff who give a damn and if I say so myself, a world class media team 😮‍💨

I would like to thank ._ , and for showing up each day when others would not and giving it 100%. And a massive welcome to as our newest member of the media team! Honourable mention to .purveur.fitness for putting up with the chaos of the media room 🤣

Pro & Novice Weekend 2025!

What a weekend! I say this each and every comp that the atmosphere is insane but this time, this weekend was the best atmosphere I’ve experienced in a long long time!
I think the lifters emotions and effort speaks for the entire comp so I’ll leave that there.
I was joined this weekend by .images and on the photography side of things and we had the dynamic duo of and capturing your attempts on film 🎥

/ WARPATH 2025

What a day! £2000 in cash prizes for the UK’s first FULLY equipped competition (yes, that does include lifting with some form of kit for deadlifts!)
Insane competition, even having prizes for bombing out 😂 and what a venue to host it in, the gym which I would say is the heart of equipped powerlifting success, 349 Barbell with at the helm!

Smashed it today with on the videography side and with his live-streaming remote controlled setup!

So as we rapidly approach our big three events of the year: WRPF British, WEPF Warpath and WRPF Pro. A polite reminder that only the official media team are permitted to be capturing footage and photos on the day. Those who are seen filming with professional kit will be asked to leave the venue.
This is not only for the lifter’s experience but as a safety precaution due to the larger volume of lifters and handlers.

But do not worry, will be live streaming all these events in high quality for you to capture your lifts. As well as our amazing videographers and who can make you a professionally edited video from your day on the platform. Please get in contact with them to sort out your pre-orders!

Photography wise, the dynamic duo of myself and .94_ will be covering WRPF British, and for Novice and Pro Weekender I will be joined by .images and to ensure you get the highest of quality. Packages are already live for preorder at www.jagershoots.com/

First time ever at this venue that I hear so much about and see a lot of (can’t miss half their lifters in matching t shirts at EVERY meet!)

18 British Records broken and set at a higher level than before today. 18. In a two flight comp! Great to see some familiar faces and new faces amongst them.

x Novice Comp!

Salisbury had a busy weekend this week, summer solstice with druids and stuff, but the main event this weekend was 100% the Novice Comp.
It’s always great to see the novice lifters who might not have stepped onto a platform lift, it’s always an unexpected surprise!
