Mama Francois langur monkey with her gorgeous baby. These monkeys are endangered in the wild and this baby was born as part of a European Endangered Species Breeding Programme. Babies are born ginger so they can be spotted easily by their mum in the group, but they fade to black over time.

Being up close and personal with a giraffe was an incredible experience. We were feeding them branches of leaves which they literally just stripped in an instant. They then stripped the bark off the branch and at that. They are incredibly strong and nearly pulled us off our feet as they ate.

Hugo, the Asian one-horned rhino at Whipsnade Zoo. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would get up close and personal with a rhino but our zoo experience meant we did just that. We fed him cabbage through the bars and stroked his thick,leathery skin. He is a gorgeous beast.
