First photo off the new printer, Adam Heart from Diamond Black (think I might have to print a set in A3 and get them signed the next time they are on tour)

Printed on A4 Canon Pro Platinum as that's what came with the printer 😉. Really like how it's rendered the colours.

New printer 😁

Thanks to Fotospeed I ordered the Canon PRO-310 at The Photography Show to take advantage of their show deal & it's been collected today.

Went with the PRO-310 over the PRO-1100 for a few reasons, but mainly available space and A3+ being my largest print size (I can get A2 printed locally if I ever needed that size).

Now just need to decide on what photo to print 😊 (and get print profiles done)

[Edit: just wanted to add that it was really easy to connect to, unlike older printers that I have had. It just worked, which is unusual for IT]

A really good day at The Photography Show, definitely worth going as Birmingham NEC is a good venue for this event.

Lots to see and some great talks. Ones I particularly enjoyed were Amy Shore on Automotive photography and Courtney Victoria Photography on How To Notice More. There were also some good points mentioned on the Adobe stand, including a sneak preview of their improved search function.

It was also great to say hello to Nigel Danson Landscape Photographer - definitely worth checking out his website and getting one of his books as they have fantastic images, especially the most recent one Close To Calm.

I *may* have bought something from Fotospeed ... but that might be posted about later on 😜
