Well I'm packed and ready to set off for tomorrows wedding of my long time friends Lisa & Ozzie. Where my beautiful wife and daughter will be bridesmaids. I can't wait to spend their special day with them and capture some images for them (albeit not many because Oz won't let me haha) also to be surrounded by our close friends and have a really good party (once I've finished shooting of course :-)

Then the day after my handsome boys (one pictured here) will be joining us for a few days celebrating my upcoming birthday (21+vat).

Oz & Lis' all the best, it's gonna be AMAZING!!!

💍 GETTING MARRIED AT WARRINGTON REGISTRY OFFICE? 📸
I'm really pleased to be exhibiting at the Warrington Registry Office Open Day on Sunday 11th October.
And having spent 25 years photographing weddings, I'm particularly looking forward to meeting couples who are planning a more intimate wedding day.
Registry office weddings can be fantastic to photograph because they're often relaxed, personal and all about the people who matter most.
And although the ceremony itself might be shorter than a traditional wedding, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on beautiful photographs. ❤️
There are plenty of opportunities for gorgeous portraits, family photographs, candid moments and those little details that you'll want to remember long after the day is over.
I've photographed weddings in all sorts of settings over the years, from intimate ceremonies to large celebrations, and I love the challenge of making sure every couple gets photographs that feel like their wedding — not a collection of forced poses.

❤️ 20 YEARS OF WEDDINGS AT WALTON HALL ❤️
Some wedding venues you photograph once.
Some you photograph for years.
And then there's Walton Hall…

I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings here for around 20 years, and I'm heading back again very soon for another wedding.
I've photographed so many different weddings here over the years that I've seen Walton in pretty much every mood imaginable — sunshine, rain, winter, summer, huge celebrations, intimate days and everything in between.
And that's one of the things I love about photographing weddings here.
It just keeps giving you somewhere beautiful to make photographs. 📸
From the incredible architecture of Walton Hall itself, to the gardens, grounds and all the little corners that make each wedding completely different, there's an amazing amount of choice for photographs.
And after 25 years as a wedding photographer, I think knowing a venue really well makes a difference.

You start to know where the light falls, where the best photographs can be made, how to use the grounds, where to take a couple for five minutes when you want something a little different…
But most importantly, you know when to stop taking photographs and let people get on with enjoying their wedding. ❤️

Your wedding day goes by in a heartbeat. Your photographs shouldn't just remind you what happened — they should take you right back there. ❤️
After more than 500 weddings and 20+ years behind the camera, I've learnt that the photographs couples treasure most aren't always the ones they planned.
It's the moment your dad sees you for the first time.
The look between you when nobody else is watching.
Having fun with your baby girl on the dance floor.
The hugs, the laughter, the happy tears — and all those little moments you didn't even realise were happening.

That's what I love about wedding photography.
I want you to have beautiful photographs, of course — but more importantly, I want your photographs to feel like your wedding.
