Our new season starts on Tuesday 8th September and we welcome new members to come and visit us to see what we are all about.

We are passionate about photography, and enjoy learning and practising our hobby with like minded people. We are a friendly bunch and are happy to help each other, with places and things to photograph and to pass on our knowledge.

Our programme is packed with inspirational Speakers, Members Photo Skills nights, Competitions and Outdoor Photoshoots. All designed to help you learn more about your photographic hobby.

Your 1st visit will be free, so come and join us at:- St Johns Church Hall, Wilderspool Causeway, WA4 6QE (next to petrol station)
Doors open 7.15 for 7.30pm start.

Our next meeting is on Tues 21st July. Members have entered 6 (themed) images for our 'Seeing in Sixes' night.
Lynda Haney will host the evening, and show our members images on the projector in a power point presentation.
The members images must be part of a 'theme' and title each image with a line from either a poem, song or factual statement.

Our members really enjoy a project like this. It's not a competition its just for fun.
Visitors are welcome to watch (admission £5) Doors open 7.15, starts at 7.30pm at St Johns Church, Wilderspool Causeway (next to petrol station) WA4 6QE.

We have a proffessional landscape photographer's presentation for our next meeting on Tues 7th July.

Colin Jarvis has taught Photography in schools and colleges and his work has featured in books, magazines and exhibitions in London, L'pool and Mcr.

A fantastic presentation of landscape photography including locations:- Venice, Lofoten Islands, Isle of Sky, Wester Ross, Northumberland, Lake District, Wales, Devon & Dorset

The Photographic Exhibition is open on Tuesday 23rd June, Mon-Fri (closed weekends) free entry.

Warrington Photographic Society are proud to be celebrating 140 years of our club. We welcome anyone who is interested in photography, using any photographic equipment, from digital, film or phone cameras... its the image that matters!

Our meetings are held on Tuesday evenings at St Thomas Church Hall, Wilderspool Causeway, WA4 6QE. Next meeting 7th July.Visitors welcome.

Celebrate an incredible 140 years of Warrington Photographic Society. They'll be here for their annual photography exhibition in just 2 weeks and we're very excited to see what they have been working on. Here in our Main Hall from 23rd June - 11th July. Don't miss it!

Our next meeting will be on Tues 9th June. We will be holding our Annual Exhibition Competition with Jeremy Roussak as our judge for the evening.

The judge will view over 100 prints and choose 1st, 2nd & 3rd then award some Highly Commended, Commended etc, in the 1st half and then do the same with the Digital images in the 2nd half.

Due to the nature of the evening, this will be for members only, but we welcome visitors to view our Photographic Exhibition from the 24th June onwards. More details to follow about the exhibition.....
