The MK3 Golf.

A 90’s hot hatch that you don’t see too often on UK roads anymore. The MK3 is the generation that most people forget about. They remember the boxier, slightly more infamous MK1 and MK2 generations, and then their mind usually goes straight onto the MK4 Golf. This is mainly due to its bulletproof 1.9 TDI engine that it could come with.

This leaves the MK3 as a great choice when it comes to wanting a retro daily or show car. They turn heads, are reliable if looked after properly, and they can still be picked up for under £1000 quite often (albeit a slightly rustier example). A decent condition one is more likely around the £2000 mark now.

A great example of a daily show off MK3 Golf is Josh’s mystic blue VR6.

Josh’s MK3 has almost any desirable option you’d ever want if you were building a MK3 in the factory brand new, such as the Hella smoked rear lights, the Morette quad headlights and full Recaro interior to name a few.

However, the main selling point is what’s under the bonnet. Josh’s Golf has the 2.8L, naturally aspirated 6 cylinder VR6 engine which when booted has enough noise to scare the birds out the trees and turn every head within a 50m radius.

The car is then finished off with a beautiful set of 16” Schmidt Revolutions which I believe fit perfectly with the rest of the car and it’s OEM+ style.

This is a seriously great car to own and I highly recommend anyone that is considering a retro daily to have a look at picking up a MK3 Golf for yourself before they start to rise in value.

Have a look through the photos I took throughout the day and hopefully you’ll enjoy looking at the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Whilst I'm currently stuck in isolation, I decided to have a look through some of the photos I took last year to see if any are of decent enough quality to actually share.

At first I thought there wouldn't be any but then I stumbled upon these photos I took of a gorgeous Mustang at Autofest Finale.

This car seriously caught my eye on the day as it's immaculate paint stood out so much where the weather was gloomy making everything else grey and gloomy.

Would love to see more cars like this come out on display this year and would also be great to feature some on here!

Long time since I used the camera due to not having anything to take photos of but finally have some new photos!

Spent the day getting some photos of Aaron's Audi A3 and just finding some cool places in general.

Even tried rolling shots for the first time.

Hope you enjoy.

Went to Haynes Motor Museum for my birthday on Monday and took some photos.
