There are some events that feel extra special to photograph, and this weekend was one of them.

I had the privilege of capturing my nephew’s Bar Mitzvah call-up, followed by a beautiful family photoshoot on Friday. From the excitement and pride in the synagogue to the laughter, hugs, and special family moments afterwards, it was a joy to document memories that will be treasured for years to come.

Being both photographer and uncle made this one particularly meaningful, and I’m grateful to have played a small part in preserving such an important milestone.

What a special way to begin an incredible Bar Mitzvah weekend.

The dress rehearsal was filled with excitement, anticipation, and plenty of proud family moments as everything came together ahead of the big day. After months of preparation and hard work, it was wonderful to see the Bar Mitzvah boy confidently take his place and rehearse for such an important milestone.

I always enjoy capturing these moments—the quieter part of the journey that often means just as much as the celebration itself.

What. A. Night. 🎪✨

This incredible Bat Mitzvah brought all the magic, energy and spectacle of The Greatest Showman to life, and it was unforgettable from start to finish.

From the moment guests walked in, they were immersed in a world of wonder. The MC, best known for playing the Original Duke in Moulin Rouge and currently starring as The Greatest Showman in London’s Come Alive, kept the energy soaring all night long, leading a celebration packed with jaw-dropping performances and non-stop entertainment. The live acts were absolutely insane, leaving everyone amazed and the dance floor buzzing with excitement.

The band were on fire, delivering hit after hit and creating an atmosphere that had guests dancing from the first song until the very last.

A huge shoutout to Events, who did an outstanding job bringing the entire vision together. Every detail was beautifully executed, creating an experience that felt truly magical.

It was such a pleasure to capture all the laughter, excitement, incredible performances and packed dance floor moments from this spectacular celebration. A Bat Mitzvah that will be remembered for a very long time! 🎭🎶✨

There’s something incredibly special about photographing a Bar Mitzvah for a family whose journey you’ve been lucky enough to document over the years. From previous simchas and family celebrations to now capturing another unforgettable milestone, it’s always such an honour to be welcomed back.

This one was all about the energy. The dance floor was absolutely packed from start to finish, with nonstop dancing, laughter, and moments happening in every direction. These are the kinds of nights I love capturing most — real movement, real emotion, and all the action shots that bring the atmosphere straight back to life.

Huge mazel tov once again to the whole family. What a night ❤️
