One of the most asked questions I’ve had recently is when is the best time to book your newborn session once baby has arrived.

The ideal timeframe is when your baby is 5-21 days old (from babies due date) this is when babies are most sleepy & most likely to settle in to those sleepy newborn poses you see on my profile.

Booking a session while you are pregnant is recommended, I use your due date as a guide then we book a date for your session once baby arrives. I only book in a small number of newborns per month to allow for flexibility when babies arrive.

This whole gallery is just gorgeous but I just love this one from their family photos.

I’d just like to say a big thank you all so much for your patience this month with navigating 6 weeks holidays and taking time off for our family holidays, it’s been a crazy few weeks. Just a couple of weeks left before a bit of normality resumes.

I have lots of messages and emails which will be replied to tomorrow. If you are due in September or October & would like a session drop me a message as I have a few sessions remaining.

Absolutely love this photo from this lovely families gallery 🤍 one of the perks of having a newborn session in your own home when you have older children is that siblings can play in between photos, you’ll find they are more comfortable in their own environment too and often only take a couple of minutes before they are chatting away to me & showing off their new baby brother or sister 🤍
