First wedding of the year, and it was a dream to open up my 2026 with. A later afternoon ceremony at , followed by drinks in the low sunshine, lots of food, a perfect sunset and a loads of laughs and hugs.

I walked away shaking my head and laughing, because how can a whole season follow this?! Has it spoilt me for the whole year?!

My last wedding of 2025, and it was such a ride! A classic English country house wedding, with loads of style but bags of fun. Mary & Josh traveled over, with a small group of family and friends, a brilliant set of ideas and plans, and frankly.. a dream.

Yas & Kev genuinely stole a piece of my heart this year. Their autumn wedding brought ALL the colours I could have dreamt of.. including a glowing ball of red for a sunset over a poppy field.. I mean WHAT?! I was so giddy knowing that nature delivered this beauty on their day 🥹❤️

I’m working overtime in the background, catching up with editing. I’ve got just one more wedding preview before the year is out, and my work never ends to deliver full galleries at the same time. What a year it’s been!

It has taken me an entire cup of tea (and my tea mug is BIG) to decide which of these photos to have first.. and what an incredible problem to have. This day was like a dream, genuinely… the people, the place, the dress, the team, the flowers… An actual pinch me moment.

But what blows me away the most, is the amount of heart. Not just in the couple who are a stunning pair of people.. but in the team they put together. We all cared so much about their day, and when everyone pours like that into their work, it’s a feeling like no other.

But rushing up to Colette after dinner, and whispering.. “theres a rainbow outside.. want to dance in the rain?!” and then having to chase after her to grab the shots excitedly, and laughing and shouting form behind the camera. THAT was actual magic.

A huge well done and big hug to everyone involved in this day. And massive hugs to both Alex & Colette 😘😘

It was so lovely to get back to Sandon Manor this year, with Rebecca & Daniel. I photographed her sister’s wedding many years ago, and I LOVE when I get to come back to celebrate with the family again!

Sandon Manor was looking gorgeous as always, all autumnal. And my GOSH did golden hour deliver. There’s nothing I won’t do to get that 10 minutes with a couple before the party really kicks off (season dependant of course) if your photographer asks to take shots like this, even if you don’t think you bothered… DO IT. Trust me.

Hope I get to come back to again soon!

Have you caught this brilliant day in my stories yet? This was during storm Amy, and as always, at , the weather is NEVER a worry. We had so much fun; running under brollies, throwing confetti in the barn or the wicked party later on. And then dancing… the DANCING!!

Moral of the story? Don’t picture the weather on your wedding day.. plan for everything and then go with the flow. You’re making memories right? It’s not a photoshoot my lovelies, these giggles are the stories you’ll still be telling when you’re 80. Relish them ❤️❤️
