Since a post I made way back in July about my struggles with mental health after losing all my camera equipment, the guys at reached out and asked how they could help me get back into photography again.

After everything was stolen, I pretty much stopped doing anything. Then Covid hit, and it pushed me even further into that “what now?” abyss. Photography was always my outlet, the thing that gave me a buzz, got me outside, and let me share my journey with you all. When that disappeared, everything else felt like it crashed too. Thank goodness for my wife & kids. ❤️

So today, I’m genuinely proud (and a bit emotional) to show you my new camera and lens, with another lens still on the way, generously purchased for me by Inflow. I’m beyond grateful for their kindness. They didn’t have to do this. They don’t expect anything in return. They simply want to see me out and about again, doing what I love and sharing my photography journey once more.

There’s no pressure from them at all. I know I need time to adjust, to get back into the flow, and now that I’ve switched to Sony I also need time to figure out how everything works 😂

A huge thank you to Inflow, you guys are truly remarkable.

Making the most of phone photography is just as easy using a DSLR, if not sometimes easier.
Here are 5 steps to think about.

1. Make the most of the composition.
If it ain't right, you can always re-crop when editing.

2. Use leading lines to bring in the viewer.

3. Use foliage or buildings to create a natural frame, like I have here with the leaves on the tree.

4. Use apps that help enhance colors that sometimes your camera didn’t pick up.
I used Snapseed, VSCO, Lighroom and LD (Lens Distortion). Just a couple of these apps can still achieve the end result.

5. Don't be afraid to try new techniques when it comes to editing. Play around with the sliders within the apps to see what they all do. Practice, practice, practice. 👌🏼

Hey, you lovely lot,
Here’s a little update.
As most of you know, I don’t post much here anymore, and if you don’t know why, let me share a bit of light.
Back in 2019, I was on a trip with BCN Tourism when all of my photography gear, worth around £8,000, was stolen. It was left in a vehicle supplied by them, and the driver, without my knowledge, left it unlocked and unattended. Along with the gear, my passport was also taken, which left me stranded in Barcelona for days.
At first, I wasn’t too worried because I had insurance… but to my shock, the claim was rejected due to the circumstances in which the vehicle was left. I was then left to fight for compensation directly from BCN or the transport company they used. They dragged their feet the whole way, and I had to hire a Catalonian lawyer to take them to court. Then Covid hit, everything got frozen, and eventually, I had to give up the case because I could no longer afford legal representation.
This whole ordeal broke me. Photography and travel were not just hobbies; they were my therapy, my expression, my escape. Losing that and feeling let down by companies I’d previously worked with was devastating. I reached out to some of them for help replacing my gear, but the silence was louder than I expected.
I slipped into depression. I gained a lot of weight. My physical health declined. I became a recluse, barely leaving the house. And to top it all off, I lost my mum during the first wave of Covid, which just deepened the darkness I was already in.
But here we are, in 2025. At the beginning of this year, I made a choice, I couldn’t stay in that place anymore. Not just for me, but for my wife and kids. They deserve the best version of me, and so do I.
So, I started making changes to my lifestyle and focused on improving my health. 6 months later, I’ve now lost over 3.6 stone (22.8kg), and I’m feeling more positive, stronger, and more like me again. Slowly but surely, I’m finding my mojo.
I still haven’t quite found the courage to pick up a camera again, right now, I only have my phone, but maybe one day I’ll surprise myself and get back to doing what I loved most.
To those of you still here, thank you x

Hey everyone,

It’s been a while since I lost my love for photography. There was a time when it consumed me—waking up thinking about sunrises, staying up late after sunsets. The passion was intense. I was fortunate enough to travel the world, capturing some of the most beautiful places and meeting so many people who shared the same passion.

But then, on a trip to the coastline of Barcelona, Spain, everything changed. On the last day, all my gear was stolen from a vehicle that had been used to ferry us around all week. I tried to fight for compensation, even hiring a lawyer, but the tourism board basically just shrugged it off. They were negligent, leaving the vehicle unlocked with nearly £8k worth of my equipment inside.

Then, of course, COVID hit, and everything fell apart. My fight for compensation fizzled out, and I was left with nothing. I couldn’t afford to replace my gear after my insurance company found a loophole in my claim (my equipment wasn't locked away and was unattended, so I wasn’t covered).

Since then, all I have left are the photos I took over the years. I still enjoy looking back at them, but the overwhelming passion I once had is gone. Maybe one day it’ll come back, but for now, it’s dormant.

So, to that end, here’s a look back at some of my favourite shots. I’ve got hundreds, and I’ll share more in the next few weeks. Hope you enjoy them as much as I did capturing them.

Take care! ❤️

Guys, as many may or may not know, after having all my photography equipment stolen, I took up streaming especially through the pandemic.
I took a break from streaming to concentrate on my mental health and now I’m coming back to it with a BANG!! To that end, I’ve just commissioned to create some artwork for my stream. We went with a 80’s vibe with things I had, played with, listened too and watched.
Can you see anything that you remember?
Or is there anything that I missed (which could be loads)?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go check out this amazing talent and take a moment to look at his behance account where you’ll see the streaming package he did for me.

Hello you lovely lot. Who would like to see more before and after edits of some of my pics?

Seeing potential in an image or location is crucial for a decent edit.
Taken on an iPhone and edited on an iPhone using the apps in the hashtags to edit this image of my boy. 💙
