Alice and Matt
A wedding day straight out of a storybook. Nestled in Alice’s parents’ beautiful English garden, with its winding stream, little waterfall and old mill charm, it felt like something from The Secret Garden.

Bathed in sunshine, surrounded by family, friends and plenty of smiles, the day unfolded so effortlessly. Their adorable dog Roger made the rounds for cuddles, the talented team at Pea Pod & Co served the most stunning artistic canapés, and guests captured their own memories on my camcorder, creating some wonderfully fun moments throughout the day.

A joyful celebration for two people so clearly adored by everyone around them!

The Dordogne delivered everything you could hope for from a destination wedding in France. Sunshine, golden stone villages, rolling countryside and a setting that felt straight out of a film.

But when I look back on Aimee and Tom’s wedding, it isn’t the views I remember most.

It’s the laughter.

The hugs that last a little longer than usual. The conversations between old friends and new. The feeling of having all your favourite people gathered in one place for a single purpose: celebrating two people they love.

Seven years ago in the beautiful hilltop village of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, Lauren and Chas said “I do”.

Their day began in the extraordinary Monolithic Church of Saint-Jean, a church carved into the rock itself, before winding through the old town’s sun-soaked streets for drinks with family and friends. As evening fell, celebrations continued at Manoir de Longeveau, where they danced long into the night.

Seven years later, life looks a little different. There are two beautiful little girls, countless memories, and a whole new chapter of adventures. But every family story starts somewhere, and this corner of France will always hold a special place in theirs.

Here’s the fun it brought on Rosie and Charlie’s wedding day, on the shore outside Rosie’s family home.
Not a dry shoe in sight, sand everywhere, complete chaos.. and everyone had the absolute best time! Unforgettable!

A quintessentially English wedding, centred around one simple idea: home.

Not just four walls and a roof, but the people waiting there to greet you.

From Sophie getting ready in the family home, to Ned welcoming guests at the church, every part of this day felt rooted in the people who matter most. After saying “I do”, they made their way back to Sophie’s parents’ beautiful garden, where family and friends gathered to celebrate the start of their next chapter.

A day filled with warmth, laughter, and the feeling of being exactly where you’re meant to be.

Helen spent the morning tucked away in her mum’s quaint little Cotswolds cottage with her best girls, and the tears started early (including the moment she received her bouquet and completely burst into tears because it was so pretty).

Meanwhile Rory was a few Guinnesses deep alongside what genuinely looked like an army of groomsmen. You can never have too much backup on a big day like your wedding!

Somewhere in the mix there was confetti flying through the air, dancing around the fire pit with Aperol spritzes in hand, and the brutal decapitation of a Colin the Caterpillar cake.

As detours go, this was the perfect one to kick off their next exciting chapter as a married couple! Cheers to many more adventures!
