Last week, we shared a behind-the-scenes look at our latest TV advert for Wynnstay Group on S4C… and now it’s time to share the full advert.

It’s always great to see a project come together from those early planning conversations, to filming, to the final cut going live on TV.

A real team effort from start to finish!

TV adverts can be created around a range of budgets to suit the client.

Whether it’s a larger production with a full crew or a smaller, more agile team, we can scale the approach to fit what’s needed without compromising on quality.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in bringing this one to life.

We’re really proud of how it turned out.

It’s live! 🎬 Our latest TV advert for Wynnstay Group is now airing on S4C.

Created to promote the business during the upcoming lambing season, it connects with the agricultural community at exactly the right moment in the farming calendar.

TV is a unique way to tell a story every second matters. We focused on creating a message that feels true to Wynnstay’s brand while making the most of TV’s reach and impact.

Seeing businesses embrace multi-channel campaigns is exciting. TV sits strategically alongside digital content, strengthening brand presence, credibility, and audience engagement.

Huge thanks to the Wynnstay team for trusting us looking forward to bringing more brands to TV in the future!

If TV advertising is on your radar this year, let’s talk about what’s possible.

Last week was incredible! We had the opportunity to work on our first National Trust video production project.

The project involved some beautiful lighting, a turntable, and, of course, some kick-ass lenses and cameras. While an object spinning on a turntable might seem simple, getting the lighting just right is what brings the artifact to life.

What made the experience truly special was seeing how all the pieces came together setting up the shots, experimenting with angles, and capturing the essence of the space.

By the end of the project, seeing the final footage come to life was an incredibly rewarding moment and reminded us why we love creating video content.

A huge thanks to all the teams involved your creativity, support, and collaboration made this an experience we’ll never forget!

Why haven't we posted in a while?..
It's not because the business is failing in fact, it's quite the opposite. Posting simply hasn't been our priority because client projects have taken priority.

Collaboration has been a huge part of why this business works. Over the past few months, we’ve been involved in some major projects with a global client. On the surface, we might look like your typical one-man video producer, but that's not always the case. For certain projects and clients, the team scales up depending on what's required.
How many interviews are needed in a day? How much B-roll needs capturing? Sometimes these demands require a larger team to deliver within tight deadlines.
What we are really saying is that we can offer services for projects of all sizes.

We also would like to say a massive thank you to Amy Hill and Callum Clowes for their recent support what a team!

Owen Tetley thanks for your amazing photos

This year, Wyrefilms were fortunate to work with Invertek Drives and it’s becoming one of our most rewarding collaborations.

Why? Three words: trust, collaboration, and openness.

Producing corporate videos with a human, story-driven feel can be tricky, especially for global brands.

The intention to “do things differently” can often fade as projects progress, replaced by safe, familiar formats.

Not here.

From the start, the Invertek Drives team placed their trust in us, giving us the space to tell authentic stories, capture the real people behind the technology, and showcase the culture in a way that feels genuine.

The project below is a perfect example. Rather than a simple sit-down interview with no b-roll, we followed Ollie’s journey from apprentice to product support engineer, showing how Invertek’s apprenticeships, graduate roles, and T-Level opportunities can kickstart careers in a world-class engineering environment.

His story took us from the shop floor to the global stage, including his experiences studying, travelling to America, and continuing his education while working.

The result is a film that’s more than just recruitment content it’s a celebration of opportunity, growth, and ambition.

We’re more than just a camera crew. We’re a full production partner, and partnerships like this prove what’s possible when creativity and trust come together.

🎥 Think a videographer just turns up and films what you ask for?
That’s only half the story.

👇 Here’s what we really do at Wyre Films:

We don’t just show up with a camera. Wyre Films offers a full video production service – from helping shape your idea, to building a smart video strategy, and capturing stories on shoot that connect with your audience and deliver results.

✅ Got a message but not sure how to bring it to life on screen?
✅ Unsure what kind of content will really resonate?
✅ Want more than just “a nice-looking video”?

This is where we come in. We help clients:
• Clarify what they want their video to achieve
• Develop creative concepts that match their goals
• Craft authentic storytelling on the day of the shoot
• Deliver polished edits that actually do something – raise awareness, prompt action, or drive engagement

✨ Video shouldn’t just look good – it should work hard for your business or cause.

📣 We’d love to know – what’s been your biggest challenge when creating video content?

👇 Drop a comment, or message us if you’d like to chat through an idea or upcoming project.

🎥 New project: Smart irrigation in action!

We recently partnered with the River Severn Partnership’s Advanced Wireless Innovation Region part of Shropshire Council to produce a short film showcasing an innovative precision irrigation project in Shifnal — working alongside Cranfield University, Universidad de Córdoba, and salad producer PDM Produce UK Ltd.

We were involved from start to finish:
📋 Pre-shoot collaboration to plan how best to tell the story
🎬 On-site direction and camera work to capture interviews and field footage
✂️ Full post-production editing to bring it all together in a clear, engaging 2.5-minute film

The video highlights how the new IMIS platform uses real-time data — from soil moisture sensors, crop evapotranspiration, and local weather — to help farmers make smarter, more sustainable decisions about water and energy use.

It was a great opportunity to help visualise the power of wireless technology in agriculture, and to tell a story that matters.

5 Questions We Ask Before Starting a Video Project 🎥👇

• Who are we speaking to?

• Where will they watch it? (Social? Website? Event?)

• How do we want them to feel — or not feel?

• What problem are we solving with this video?

• What’s the goal we’re working towards?

These questions lay the foundation for every project. They help us stay focused on the purpose from the start — making the final video so much more impactful.

P.S. If you’re creating videos without asking these questions first, start now.

It’ll seriously level up your work!

One of the best things about what we do at Wyrefilms?

Getting to tell powerful stories where tech, innovation, and purpose collide.
And this recent project was exactly that.

Tech in Action: Capturing the Future of Farming with Hartpury University and Hartpury College
In partnership with Hartpury Digital Innovation Farm and the River Severn Partnership Advanced Wireless Innovation Region, we were commissioned to produce a full video campaign for Farm Forward a series of live demonstration events showing how advanced wireless connectivity is transforming British agriculture.

Our mission:
To bring the future of farming to life through film.

🎥 Across the campaign, we created four event films, each 1.5–2 minutes long, and four short-form highlight reels designed for social media.

These videos weren’t just summaries they were stories.

Stories that showed the impact of innovation, the value of connectivity, and the people driving change.

Key themes we explored included:
👉 Remote expert demonstrations in real time
👉 Environmental sensors tracking climate data and gas levels
👉 Robotic milking systems at work
👉 Farm Walk & Talk sessions with tech innovators and farmers
👉 How 5G connectivity is powering smarter, more sustainable agriculture

We asked the big questions too:
💡 How can robotics and sensors drive sustainability on the farm?
💡 What does reliable connectivity really mean for rural areas?
💡 And what role will wireless tech play in the next five years of British farming?

These films formed a key part of Farm Forward’s communications strategy used to inform, engage, and inspire stakeholders across education, industry, and policy.

And the best part?

Seeing how film can make technology tangible.
Accessible.
Real.
We don’t just produce content we help organisations communicate what matters.

Because when the work is meaningful, the storytelling should be too.

That’s what we’re all about at Wyrefilms.

Jo Mills it was such a privilege working with you on these films.

Last week, I finally took some time off for a much-needed break.
The first one since October last year.

And honestly it was long overdue.

When you run your own business, getting that balance between work and wellbeing isn’t easy. There’s always something to do. A deadline approaching. An email that needs answering. A project that just needs one more tweak.

But stepping away reminded me just how vital it is to carve out that space.

Because as a creative, headspace isn’t a luxury it’s essential.
It’s where the ideas live. It’s how the storytelling gets better.
And it’s how we keep showing up with energy and purpose.

I’ve come back feeling clearer, more grounded, and even more excited about the projects I’ve got coming up.

If you’re a fellow freelancer or small business owner, and you haven’t taken a break in a while this is your gentle reminder that it’s okay to pause.
In fact, sometimes it’s the most productive thing you can do.

We talk a lot about creativity, clarity, and purpose in our work at Wyrefilms but it starts with looking after the person behind the camera, too.
