Are you finding it hard as a business to know what to post these days?
I am.
And I’m honest about that.
Because being a photographer used to mean your work was your content ~ but that’s not really the case anymore.
However, I think there is still a demand to engage with photography. And I think that authenticity will win through, as algorithms constantly change and platforms compete with each other therefore shifting the goal posts for their users.
But I can’t be who I’m not, as a business or as a person.
I’m quieter, more considered in my approach, I tend not to be a slave to social media trends. And I tend not to shout loudly either personally or professionally.
But I know I have to be here and be seen ~ and whether Instagram will like it or not, I’m going to stay true to my brand values and my personal values and bring you my work as a photographer in the best way I can, authentically and with heart and soul.
My blog will soon become more active and a place for businesses to find inspiration and a place to sit with a coffee for a quiet read, to perhaps simply pause for a moment and enjoy the medium of photography and the stillness it brings.
Thank you for reading this far and I hope you’ll stay with me …. Kathryn x

P.S Reels do weird things with colours 🤷🏼♀️ so these images don’t look quite as they should! Another Instagram oddity 🙃
