That's the end of my summer season! 🎉

6 wonderful weddings, and 1 secret ceremony! What a summer it's been. Now it's time to finish up my editing and enjoy a bit of a break. (Although, I do have space for a couple of last minute winter weddings if anybody is looking 😁)

A beautiful ceremony for Adam and Carina at St Peter's & St Paul's Church in Cattistock.

St Peter's & St Paul's is a stunning gothic style Victorian church, with each wall lined with intricate stained glass. It's a beautiful, dramatic backdrop for a wedding ceremony. It was a delight to shoot there.

And if you caught me tearing up to this song behind the camera as the bride and her flower girls walked in, no you didn't 😅

I've discovered a new fondness for church ceremonies this summer after two beautiful and unique weddings at All Saints Church in Wyke Regis. And I can't complain about the view either - look at that window!

Remember, your first dance as a newly married couple doesn't have to be the only more formal dance of the evening!

This wedding included a very special dance between the groom and his Aunty. It was a moment to appreciate all she had done, a moment to remember those that they'd lost along the way, and a moment that had the entire room in tears 🥹

It's moments like these that make a wedding day special, the ones that make your day truly unique and true to who you both are.

From a beautiful ceremony at All Saints Church in Wyke on to the Reception at St Edmunds Church hall, this whole day was heartfelt and emotional.

Getting to hear S&L's story through speeches made by themselves and their loved ones is something I'll remember for a long time. From dating in their teen years, to now rekindling their romance some 30 odd years later, theirs really is a story about true love and soulmates finding their way back together no matter how long they've spent a part!

This was a day full of tears (both happy and in remembrance), but also full of good vibes - the dancefloor was packed from late afternoon all the way into the night. And I had so much fun getting to watch this celebration of the joining of families.
