Here’s another 20 portraits from UTMB.

There’s a lot of noise around Chamonix at the moment, and understandably so. UTMB has become a huge week, with brands, media and content everywhere you look.

This year I wasn’t really part of that. I didn’t have the pressure of shooting for brands. I could wander, watch, take my time and photograph the things that interested me.

And I loved that freedom. Sometimes it’s good to step outside the circle and appreciate our sport for what it is underneath all the noise. Things change. And often when something is gone, you realise how much you miss its absence.

Look a little harder. There’s still so much beauty here.

My sixth time at UTMB, and this year I made a conscious decision not to post while I was there. There was already enough noise.

These are 20 photographs showing the big moments, the quiet ones and the bits in between.

And why The Libertines? The trip started with me standing next to Peter Doherty at Geneva Airport. It seemed only right.

Last night at the Chamonix premiere of The Hillbilly Scientist.

A very proud moment seeing my portrait of Laz fronting the film poster — and even better getting to share this moment with the man himself.

Really proud to see my portrait of Lazarus Lake fronting the poster for The Hillbilly Scientist.

I donated the photograph, taken during the 2026 Barkley Marathons, to the film — an authorised documentary about Laz, directed by Paul Mellor and Luke Jarmey.

The world premiere takes place in Chamonix this Thursday and I’ll be there. Knowing how much work has gone into this project, I’m genuinely excited to finally see it on the big screen.

A special one to be a small part of!
