We visited the ancient ruined city of Ephesus in Kusadasi, Turkey. It is incredibly well preserved and spent centuries buried in the ground.

Archeologists are still excavating the site and discovering more buildings, artefacts & statues all the time.

Out for food in the week to Chilli's Indian Restaurant but this time Heather sat this one out and my good friend Steve joined me instead.

To start with we went for the poppadoms and chutney tray which had the usual things on it, but also had a red dish which we hadn't had before, but it was amazing.

Steve had a mackerel bhaji starter which (in his words) was "the best ever" I didnt have a starter.

For mains, Steve had the Chicken Dopiaza with pilau rice and I had the Chicken tikka massala with lemon rice. We had a peshwari naan to share and washed it all down with a beer and a cider.

Service was great and the restaurant was very clean and presentable.

All in all, a lovely meal out, Chillis, we will be back. :-)
