Izabella and Keith

They got married at Rushpool hall. With the beautiful grounds, a gorgeous gown, three behaved dogs and a humorous groom, it was the perfect day.

Rain was threatening which scuppered their plans for an outdoor ceremony but with such a gorgeous building, an indoor ceremony created the ideal, romantic setting.

What a pair these two are!! They are so in love and had me in tears during their first dance. I loved every second of their wedding day.

Congratulations to you both and thank you for asking me be a part of your day.

Saturday was the wedding of Dan & Grace.

I first met this lovely couple after Dan reached out saying he was planning on proposing to Grace in the Lake District and would like me to capture the moment. After saying yes (thankfully), we’ve fast forwarded two years and I got to capture their wedding at Crathorne Hall Hotel.

The day was filled with wonderful music, sarcasm, a sassy dog and a whole lot of love.

Their wedding felt like I was part of the family and it was such an honour to be able to capture their day.

I may have got a little excited when this rainbow appeared at Saturdays wedding 🌈 And to think I had anxiety over the weather but it turned out to be an absolutely perfect day for such a fantastic couple (who didn’t get sick of me constantly stealing them away for photos when the rain stopped). I had so much fun on this pre wedding shoot and I can’t wait for the wedding!! I always recommend a pre wedding shoot, it gives us a chance to get to know each other before your wedding day and it shows the shy grooms that it’s actually quite fun. It does help that I have a shocking sense of humour 😅

Ooooh to feel a love like this! And what an absolute hoot this wedding was. As a photographer I think it’s so important to be able to have fun with a couple. Everyone’s more relaxed, the photos look more natural and full of genuine laughter.

The hospitium at York is so, so gorgeous. I love any opportunity to get photos in the museum gardens!
