Now that the new Carlos Reina Photography website is live, I can start sharing some of the projects and stories behind the work. 📸

One of those projects took me aboard the incredible Santa María during her visit to Whitehaven. ⚓

A huge thank you to the crew for the warm welcome, for sharing their time with us, and for giving us the opportunity to experience this remarkable ship up close.

A special thank you as well to Nao Victoria and Harbour Commissioners, and to everyone involved in bringing the Nao Santa María to Whitehaven. It was fantastic to see something so special in our harbour.

A memorable project, great people, and an experience I’m very happy to share.

📸 **The new website is live!**

I’ve redesigned my photography website to better reflect the work I do and, most importantly, the stories behind the images.

The new site brings together my commercial, event, sport, portrait and community photography, along with featured projects such as the Nao Santa María.

The idea behind it is simple: **Capturing stories that matter.**

A fantastic Vulture Day at Muncaster Castle and the Muncaster Hawk & Owl Centre🦅💚

Celebrating International Vulture Awareness Day with some truly incredible birds — and plenty of fun from Muncaster’s vulture mascot too!

Vultures are often misunderstood, but they perform an essential job in the natural world. As nature’s clean-up crew, they help keep ecosystems healthy, making their conservation incredibly important.

A brilliant day raising awareness, learning more about these remarkable birds and seeing them up close.

This winter I’m starting a personal photography project celebrating the people who live, work and help shape St Bees.

I’m looking for people of all ages and backgrounds — lifelong residents, newcomers, business owners, volunteers, students, neighbours, or simply someone with a story to tell.

You can nominate someone you know or nominate yourself.

Selected participants will be invited for a short portrait session and informal chat, becoming part of the People of St Bees series.

Day one photographing The Whitehaven Weekender 📸🎪

What a brilliant first day around Whitehaven Harbour — packed with colour, creativity, live performance, incredible skills and some fantastic characters.

From street theatre and bike stunts to family activities and eye-catching performers, there was something happening everywhere you looked.

A fantastic atmosphere for day one, with plenty more to come tomorrow! 🙌
