Today is for all the women and girls out there and especially the ones smashing barriers, being seen, not fitting the mould, showing their strength and power and taking up room. Today (as it should be everyday) is an appreciation, a celebration of your achievements and a reminder to all of your capabilities, talents, intelligence, inspiration, strength, independence and support of others. All while changing the world for the better, when the world is set up for you to never reach your potential. Today and every other day should be yours to grab with both hands. Keep being strong, keep saying no to bu****it and hopefully society will start changing the systems, allowing the funding, creating equal pay, making it safer to walk home in the dark and see your ambition as leadership, not attitude

📸 Novos Ladies RFC v Sale FC 1861 // 13.9.25

It's been a few months since I've had the camera out, but with thanks to Cajb-photos for the invite, I got back out. Always a pleasure visiting Novos, a club I've been visiting since 1997. Although never played for or been involved with (always the opposition), I've always felt at home and has always welcomed me with open arms thanks to the players, volunteers and members.

SHORTLISTED 🎉

Thrilled and a little surprised to be shortlisted for Rugby journal 's Rugby Photographer of the Year 2024 in the Landscape category, for this shot I took in September 2023 at Medicals Rugby Football Club's ground Cartington Terrace, when they played Sunderland RFC.

This image will be part of an exhibition in the World Rugby Museum at Twickenham Stadium and be printed in the next issue of Rugby Journal. Mental.
