This was a weird one with such an amazing result..

Never spoke to the couple, their day got booked in through a friend as a surprise. Didn't know who was getting married when I turned up to guests and definately didn't expect such an amazing venue in the middle of nowhere down a countrylane that lasted an eternity as was only fit for one car. I turned up, did my job then left making couple new friends.

I think their age made the moments more humbling and profounding as I witnessed a 30year relationship finally get sealed by marriage.

Then I send the photos off and heard from the friend they loved them without being directly contacted which is so bizarre but I absolutely love that! Mysterious, nerve-racking and I felt agog while waiting for feedback 🥹

"Alex I don't suppose you can photograph this sentimental piece on my bouquet?".. 'Something like this? Yeah spotted it a mile off'

"Alex, there's a guest book over there can I be cheeky and try and get you to get everyon.." 'dont worry, that bloke has it over there and it's 5 pages in.."

You see, I may be the most observant person on the day (it's my job..) BUT you can never always be on the ball.

The photo below depicts celebrating 5 long minutes being stuck in The Chelsea Harbour Hotel lift, waiting for a guest to let me out on the correct floor as I forgot the lift keycard from the concierge team. I'm use to Premier Inn 😑
