Making your interior stand out from others isn't easy is it? If you're like me, you spend hours poring over interiors pages on Instagram, lapping up the stories of how the room was created, and - in my case - wishing I could create such a stand-out space. I've found that it's very often down to the finishing touches - the decor items such as vases, sculptures, pictures, cushions and so on. And I wonder where they buy these things because they are often not from the large retailers, they are usually from small local artisan shops, offering a rarity and a quality not found from the large multiples....
Sometimes they will offer mail-order, sometimes they don't and I wish I had more of these independent retailers near me. So whenever I visit towns where they do have these kind of retailers I'm in heaven.
