A different set-up for this maternity photo session. I photographed four lovely women. We met for a summer swim and picnic under the late afternoon sun, a chance to chat about this stage in the journey and document the moment with beautiful photographs. Starting with Holly 🌿

He'd been planning this for weeks. She had no idea.
They walked down to the water as the light started doing that golden thing it does over Windermere, and he got down on one knee before she'd even clocked what was happening.

No stress, just two people and a proposal that felt completely theirs. The Lake District has a way of making a big moment feel private, even when it's happening in the open.

Congratulations to this pair 🥂 So glad I got to be there for it.
