✷How planning has increased my productivity👇🏻

As you may or may not know, I’m actually really organised but have never been much of a to-do list person. I’ve always just kept everything inside my head without really writing much down.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well, since getting busier in the biz this has not worked for me- AT ALL. Before I implemented these changes and started actually planning, I was procrastinating like crazy. Don’t get me wrong, I was still getting things done but I was stressing myself out so much.

I couldn’t continue like that, so this month I have really sat down to plan most of my month out. Of course I don’t follow it to a tea but I have been time blocking my calendar and oh my has it helped!

I’ve been time blocking everything, my personal time, client work, editing, etc. The best part though, is that I now have set days for different aspects of the biz. For example, I have a content creation day/s where I work on personal projects/film reels, I have a development day where I will sit and go through any courses I’m doing at the moment, I have admin days where I look through all my finances etc.

I’ve only been doing these for a couple of weeks and have already seen a massive change in productivity and my stress levels. I’d definitely recommend giving it a go and seeing how it goes for you!
