What are your thoughts on Bluey The Ride; Here Come The Grannies at Alton Towers ?

We think they've done a pretty good job at bringing the world of The Heelers to life with plenty of references around the area including Chattermax in the shed style station!

It's a great fit for Cbeebies Land and has proven very popular.

This October the team at The Haunted Trail of Terror are collaborating with Murder House Productions s to create not one, but two all new experiences at Valley Country Park

For family frights, "Sweets and Shrieks" will be a family friendly experience with activities ranging from meet and greets to games and even a scare maze toned down for younger audiences (After all, monsters can have a friendly side!).

Sweets and Treats is designed for families and is recommended for ages 12 and under

If you feel yourself to be brave however, the Murder House team will be ready to put you through your paces with "The Experiment", an immersive scare maze where participants will be plunged deep into their own nightmares and come face to face with the teams terrifying actors who are relentless in their scares. Are you brave enough to meet them?

The Experiment is recommended for those aged 13 and over

The event also plans to have market traders to purchase some seasonal goods.
Even better, the event will be helping raise money for Charity - the teams are proudly supporting the Daniel Baird Foundation & Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Sweets and Shrieks is running on the following dates:
October 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
October 24th, 30th, 31st: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

The Experiment is running on the following dates:
October 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st: 5:00 -9:00 PM

The Fairytale Library is coming along nicely with an opening year of 2027.
It looks like some Gnomes will be present in the Library, though they may be a little mischievous!

FRIGHTS WITHOUT FEAR!

Calling all brave young detectives. A strange mystery is unfolding beneath Rookmere's Canal Tunnels, and we need your help to solve it…

Frights Without Fear is a brand-new daytime event within Walsall Scare Maze, an interactive Halloween adventure created especially for younger guests who love spooky stories, mysteries and Halloween fun, but aren’t quite ready for the full scare maze experience.

Young detectives will be welcomed into the academy, receive their mission briefing and set off to investigate the mysterious canal tunnels. Along the way, they’ll search for clues, solve challenges, collect stickers to fill their case file and uncover hidden objects as they work together to crack the case.

The adventure then continues into the haunted attic theatre for a live spooky finale, where the detectives must activate mysterious artefacts and help release a friendly ghost! 👻

The experience and event is designed to be spooky, fun and exciting rather than frightening, with no extreme scares or intense horror.

💚 Recommended for ages 8–12
💜 SEN-friendly sessions available with a calmer atmosphere, reduced sound levels, gentle effects and no jump scares.

Places will be limited and sessions will be timed to create a calmer, more enjoyable experience for every young detective.
