One of the things that Elise has been trying to get better at is Shot & Drop Tower rides.

Today is another installment in this series of overcoming this fear with The Volcano at Fantasy Island

Join us for a virtual ride on Drakon at Paultons Park - The all new Gerstlauer Amusement Rides GmbH Eurofighter rollercoaster is one of the new additions to the brand new realm of Valgard which is now open.

It's the first rollercoaster at Paulton's to have inversions and a vertical lift hill and is the perfect step up from the existing coasters for anyone looking for their next big coaster experience.

We found it really smooth and a lot of fun too.

One of the areas we love a walkthrough of during our visits to West Midlands Safari Park is the Ice Age and Dinosaur themed areas.

Unfortunately on our recent visit, we discovered that these areas are showing their age a little with multiple dinosaurs showing damage, no animatronics active and a lack of lava in the volcano.

It's a great area of the park and we hope that it will get the tlc that it deserves as it proved to be quite popular during our visit.

The Aquarium section of West Midlands Safari Park has been closed for some time. This section of the discovery trail including the gift shop space next door has always been an area which we thought could use something new. (I believe the old gift shop is now used for Christmas events)

The insects and bat cave are open as normal (however this closure means you have to go back on yourself through the insect house)

What do you think they will put in this space? Would you like to see a refurbished aquarium or something new?

Since our last visit to West Midlands Safari Park there has been some work taking place up the top of the park past the Lemur Woods where Lion Lodges are being worked on!
