Save our venues!

We’re lighting it up red tonight to highlight the critical financial situation faced by the live music industry, an industry that supports over 200,000 jobs in the UK alone.

The careers and livelihoods of an entire sector have been categorised as non-viable by Rishi Sunak, with Business Secretary Alok Sharma stating that thousands of incredibly talented and creative individuals should use the welfare system, learn new skills or get “better jobs”.

Live music brings joy and culture to the entire country (plus making a fairly impressive contribution to the economy every year) but the UK government have completely turned their backs on us. Without urgent and real financial support, there will be nothing to return to when this is all over. Please share and support live music ❤️
