Almost every year I head over to Sandwell Valley for the Run for Joel. Not to run (dont be silly!) but to photograph all those who do! So many people are involved in the Run and the charity Smile For Joel Hope it raised loads of money to create smiles for those in tough points in their lives. Didn't win the raffle again, but hey ho! Suzy Evans keep smiling and doing the fabulous job that you do x

It's so sad, but I hear it all the time.

Most pro photographers started life as talented and keen amateurs, yet most don't want to take a camera with them when they go on holiday. And very few stay in the Camera Clubs where they developed their skill and passion.
At Wolverhampton Photographic Society we make it fun and engaging for beginners to full-time professionals. How do we do that you may ask? Simple! We make it fun by going on trips. 9 of us have just come back from a trip of a lifetime to Tromso. We saw the aurora on 2 nights and breathtaking snow capped mountain scenery in fjords.
Of course I'm back to work photographing you lovely people now, and the editing of holiday photos is not finished!

We won!!! Since meeting Leo Lloyd in 2019 I have had an absolute ball working with Leo, Paul Lloyd, Katie Fittes and most recently Alex Love. So to be there as part of the team to celebrate them winning Suppler of the Year at the Meeting Industry Awards tonight was fantastic. Huge Congratulations!

Third time lucky for Three Elephants!

So wonderful to be back photographing the Military Fair at Penkridge Market for the 3 Elephants Antiques and Collectables this year. For the 3rd year running the August event provided us with blue skies and hot sunshine. This made for a tricky shoot outside (trying to avoid dark shadows) but a wonderful day for families and collectors who come here. Thanks to Vicky , Chris, Dave, Alfie and all the team at 3 Elephants Antique Arcade

Why TWO is always better than ONE!

It is always an honour to photograph someone's wedding, but is especially high pressure when it is for a people you know and love. Harry and Emma, you and your family looked stunning and smiled the whole day. It was so hot, I could not have coped without Tim Burden who is inspirational and when our kit started to melt (and ourselves) he picks me up and vice versa! Between us, we made incredible memories for the lovely couple. Must also mention Neil Edwards who was the best Magician, MC and all-round entertainer I have ever seen at a wedding. He really knows how to work a crowd and made the post speech lull one of the highlights of the day!

If you haven’t seen this exhibition then I suggest the next rainy day in August (which is bound to be soon!) you go and see it. The best photographs in the world for nature and wildlife. It will inspire you or your kids to want to photograph animals from the garden to the zoo and beyond.
