Imagine this....you walk into a warm, beautifully arranged studio right in the heart of Worcester. It smells like Christmas, it feels like Christmas! The kids' eyes go wide... I put on some festive music on and within minutes everyone is laughing and relaxed and just... being your family. I do the rest 💚.

You get the photos for the Christmas cards (or emails!), when you'll look back at in ten years and remember exactly how this Christmas felt.

And it was so much easier than you thought it would be... and it's close to the car park, right in the city centre, beautifully cosy and stress free. And perfect if you'd like get lunch or go shopping before or after 😎.

🎄 Recommended for older babies (2 months+).

🎄 Arch 27 is a spacious, bright and beautiful studio right in the heart of Worcester, just steps from the large car park and The Hive, making it easy to find and easy to get to.
🎄 The studio will be dressed in a warm, cosy, traditional Christmas theme. Think soft textures, festive warmth and that magical atmosphere that makes you feel like Christmas really has arrived.
🎄 We will have 30 minutes together, with 20 to 25 minutes for photos.
You'll receive a style guide and tips on how to prep and what to bring.
Your photos will be edited within 5 days and uploaded to your secure online gallery.
🎄A £30 non-refundable deposit and a signed contract is required on booking to confirm your session time.
🎄 Full payment is required 7 days prior to the session.

I'm back from a big camping trip around Scotland, the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District!

There were SO many highlights, but some of my favourites were staying with our cousins who live near the Cairngorms National Park: fires, trips, walks, stunning drives, little villages and, of course - cake!😎

Then there was SUPing on Wastwater and driving through the mountain passes on the western side of the Lake District. It was a new area for us, and I can't believe we'd never been there before. So quiet and so incredibly stunning. It was our 6th time to this UK's most famous and beautiful UK's NP!

Eating fish&chips, flying a kite and watching the sunset by the magnificent and in my opinion the most impressive castle of all - Bamburgh in Northumberland.

And walking through Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales, which has to be one of the most scenic valleys I've ever seen. We visited in 2020 and it was so great to be back there.

Since returning on Saturday evening, I've already had two sunset photoshoots, spent yesterday and this morning catching up on emails (thank you for all the enquiries!), ordering prints and, well... washing clothes, duvets and jackets, drying the tent, SUP and windbreak, and finally putting all the camping gear away.

As amazing as the NORTH always is, and as much as I love camping, it's also very nice to be back in the warmth and in my own bed. 😅

Reading these afterwards made me a little emotional.

Because three years ago, this was just an idea I had for a photoshoot. Now I see women meeting each other, sharing stories, supporting one another and leaving feeling empowered.

And I get to photograph it. I'm very, very grateful. 💛

"Are you STILL breastfeeding?"

This year's breastfeeding photoshoot surprised me.

I knew we'd have babies, but didn't expect that almost half of the children would be over a year old.

There were toddlers running around, playing, laughing and occasionally coming back to mum for a feed before heading off again.

This year's mums talked about feeling self-conscious feeding an older baby in public.

About being asked when they're going to stop.

About feeling as though there is some invisible deadline when breastfeeding is suddenly supposed to become inappropriate.

When my son stopped breastfeeding at 12 months, someone said to me: "Good, you stopped. Were you going to breastfeed him forever?!"

Instead of being silent, I should have said "No, I was planning to stop when he's getting married." 😂

Because really... why do we feel the need to comment on something that is between a mother and her child?

The World Health Organization recommends continuing to breastfeed for up to two years or longer, for as long as both mother and child want to.

As Zoe brilliantly explained in her blog after our photoshoot, what many of us have been taught to see as "unusual" or "too long" is, biologically and globally, well within the normal range.

So perhaps we need to stop treating breastfeeding a toddler as something strange.

Perhaps we need to stop asking "Are you STILL breastfeeding?"

Perhaps we could simply smile and carry on with our day.

Because that mum might have worked incredibly hard to get there.

She might have been told her baby would never breastfeed.

She might have had problems with feeding, pain, supply or support.

Or perhaps breastfeeding has simply been something that has worked beautifully for her and her child.

Whatever her story, it's hers.

And this is one of the reasons I photograph this.

Because somewhere out there is a mum feeding her toddler who feels like she's the only one.

A mum who is wondering whether she's doing something unusual.

A mum who is worried about what people think.

And perhaps she'll see one of these photographs and think:

"Oh. I'm not the only one."

Perhaps she'll feel a little more confident feeding her child in public.

Perhaps she'll decide to carry on for a little longer.

Or perhaps she'll simply feel reassured that there is nothing wrong with the way she's chosen to feed her child.

These photographs aren't just about breastfeeding.

They're about making something natural and normal visible.

And during World Breastfeeding Week, I hope they reach the mums who need to see them. 💛

One of the mums who came along said something that I couldn't have put better:

"Our breastfeeding journey won't last forever, but it's a chapter of motherhood I'll treasure for the rest of my life."

As a mum who breastfed my own son, I couldn't agree more. I'm so glad I was able to do it. And I'm so glad it was part of our story.

It's World Breastfeeding Week! 💛 And yet again, this very special gathering happened.

For the 3rd year in a row we gathered for a summer evening in Malvern. An evening of breastfeeding, connection, conversation, a little relaxation and, of course, photography.

These women don't necessarily know each other when they arrive.

But then they sit together.

They talk.

They share their stories.

They laugh, they listen, they realise that the thing they thought was just their experience has actually been experienced by someone else too.

This is so much MORE than a photoshoot.

This year we had tiny babies, older babies and quite a few toddlers who were much more interested in running around than sitting still for a photograph.

And that's exactly what I love about it.

There isn't a perfect way for breastfeeding to look.

There isn't a perfect age.

There isn't a perfect mother.

There are just mums and their babies, doing something that works for them.

We started the evening with a beautiful relaxation and connection circle with Zoe , then Becky was there with her breastfeeding knowledge and support, and Kate from Nurture Families brought her lovely reassuring presence, toys and plenty of toddler entertainment.

And then we photographed.

In the most beautiful summer light.

Mums feeding their babies.

Mums feeding their toddlers.

Cuddles, smiles, little hands, bare feet and lots and lots of love.

I'm so grateful to every mum who came along and trusted me with this.

And to Zoe, Becky and Kate, thank you for being part of this little dream of mine for another year.

What started three years ago as an idea for a photoshoot has become something so much more meaningful to me.

A gathering of women.

A place to share stories.

A place where nobody needs to explain themselves.

And photographs that show breastfeeding exactly as it is. All different, all beautiful, and very much part of motherhood.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week to all the breastfeeding mums out there, wherever you are on your journey. 💛

Last month I photographed 14 families at the confetti fields. 🌸

12 of them I had photographed before.
2 I had met before.
2 were completely new to me.

And I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone. So many photographers go to the fields every year, so to be chosen is wonderful.

But I want to write a few extra words about those who returned to me for another photoshoot.

It was so so special. So much more relaxed, for you and for me. Easier too. A trust and a comfort is already there. And it makes everything flow so much more naturally.

Over three years in, I'm now getting to watch families grow in real time. I photograph the same family and suddenly there's a new baby. Then that baby starts walking. Then the older one starts school. Or finishes it! Seasons change, and they come back for another one in autumn, or spring, or whenever the light calls them back 💛.

When you first start a business, you hope this will happen one day, but you can't quite imagine it. And when it eventually does? It's so much better than anything you could have pictured!

It's a bit like trying to describe becoming a mother to someone who isn't one yet. You can try, but the words don't quite reach it. And then one day they have their own child, and suddenly it's all completely clear.

That's what repeat clients feel like to me. 🧡

And if you are a photographer who is just starting out, I wish you many returning families.

It's a sandwich!

A sandwich of fun and portraits.

A sandwich of everyone staying close, holding hands with mum and dad... and then five minutes later throwing your nephew into the air or playing chase with your granddad (unless his knees are too dodgy).

A sandwich of classic portraits where I'll ask everyone to look at the camera... followed by moments where I'll ask you to forget I'm even there and simply enjoy being together.

Large family photoshoots have their own rules and they're a bit different to a session with just one family.

There are grandparents who'd love a photo with everyone together and every grandchild. Cousins who only see each other every other year. Mums who want to get a photo with their daughters hugging them because they can't remember when was the last time she had one like that.

We walk.
We chat.
The children run (sometimes adults run too).
Someone always ends up on someone's shoulders.
Someone gets tickled.
Someone gets thrown in the air.
I ask questions and laugh with you.
And we take classic portraits. I have a plan so we photograph everyone in every combination.

That's the sandwich! And no, AI didn't write this post.

If you've been thinking about getting the whole family together, DO IT this summer! Grandparents don't get younger, children grow far too quickly, and getting everyone in one place is often the hardest part. Once you've done that... I've got the rest. 💛

Golden light spilling across a meadow...
Foxgloves swaying in the warm evening breeze...
Her little girl reaching for her hand, already so excited to meet her baby sister...
These are the moments she will remember 💜

And I'll remember this photoshoot for sure as well! One of the BEST ever. I still can't go over how beautiful in every way it was.

Pregnancy isn't just the journey to meeting your baby. It's a beautiful chapter all of its OWN.

And I promise you - you ARE beautiful! Even if you're feeling tired, swollen or not quite like yourself. And it's my job to help you see that ☺️

Summer gives us the most incredible sunsets, soft golden light, and peaceful countryside that simply can't be recreated any other time of year. We have around 6 beautiful warm weeks left to enjoy until the end of August.

I know the most breathtaking hidden locations across Worcestershire, with views towards the Malvern Hills, long grass glowing in the evening sun, and quiet spots where your session feels more like a relaxed family walk than a photoshoot.

Bring your partner. Bring your children. Bring your dog. Or come on your own and celebrate this incredible time of your life.

The group breastfeeding photoshoot is returning for its third year, and this is an official invitation to join me for something truly special 💜

What started as a one-off personal project has become one of my favourite days of the entire year. It has grown into something more than just a photoshoot. It is a motherhood gathering. A safe, nurturing space to connect, share, and simply be.

This year we're heading to The Malvern Link Common. The meadows are covered in gorgeous grasses and open sky, and I've wanted to bring this event here for a while. I just know it's going to be stunning.

This year the shoot will also take place closer to sunset, because sunset light is the most gorgeous, most flattering light there is, and my absolute favourite to photograph in. Because we're having the longest heatwave ever, I decided to bring it forward and host it next week!

Joining us again is my wonderful friend and fellow mama Zoe Meachem , pregnancy and postnatal yoga, baby massage and hypnobirthing teacher, who will gently lead us in a grounding meditation to open the evening. Calming, connecting, and exactly what we mamas need.

We'll also be joined by Kate Lavender, community and engagement lead for , a CIC offering support for families across Worcestershire through stay and plays, yoga, therapies, dad groups, and a nature based kindergarten. Kate will be bringing mats and toys to keep your little ones entertained throughout.

Becky Davenport , a lactation consultant, will be joining us too. She was there during the first event and I'm so glad she can be there again.

After a short relaxation and story sharing with Zoe, I'll take beautiful group and individual portraits of you and your little one, yours to keep, completely free.

Is 10 years together worth celebrating? You know my answer...

These two wonderful, kind humans booked me A YEAR AGO. We video chatted, planned it, we were all excited, and on the day we went up to my favourite spot on the Malverns during the most perfect sunset and created the most stunning photos.

Ten years in and you could just feel it! The way they reached for each other, the comfortable silences, the laughter that still caught them by surprise after all this time... they way he held her in his arm or she kissed him...

That's worth photographing! The everyday, ordinary, extraordinary love that's been growing for a decade. No ring, no bump, no big occasion required, just the two of them, exactly as they are together.

We walked, talked, laughed, and let it happen naturally, with a few still moments in between (and a few outfit changes too!).
