The Story Behind REFLECTION
This artwork started as a photograph I took while part - solo travelling around Asia.
Although the image shows the reflection of a man standing in the water, I’ve always felt it was also a reflection of myself at that time in my life.
Solo travel gave me space to slow down, look inward, and reconnect with who I was.
The geometric elements I added later became markers of that feeling a visual memory of solitude, reflection, and self-discovery.
A photograph captures a moment. The artwork holds the feeling.
Which do you prefer , before or after?
You can see Reflection as a large-format limited edition print at my solo exhibition, THE SPACE BETWEEN , opening tomorrow at Colonnade House, Worthing. 💛
