Two years ago today I first noticed movement issues with my right hand, coupled with the loss of my sense of smell since 2016…
Doctors were useless at diagnosing or helping, I finally got referred to Neurology and after a year waiting I was seen at Worthing Hospital.
Three months later I had an MRI and DAT scan which confirmed I have Parkinson’s disease.
Today is my birthday and I want to use it to raise awareness of this awful disease, the picture below shows some (not all) symptoms associated with PD.
Another year round the sun, this one being the first with my diagnosis so am having a quiet one.
