I’m so proud of my friends at Done Together CIC and the huge success of their Afro Hair workshops.
Natalie Edwards is always championing for communities that need it, for educating people and to benefit wrexham.
I volunteer my time for the girls at DoneTogether because I genuinely love working with them. The workshops they have put on for children’s university and now for done together are great, educational events and I hope this gains them a lot more recognition.
It was an honour to attend two of the workshops to document the events for them and even more exciting to see my photography from the events on the bbc website!
Growing up as a teenager of mixed heritage in Wrexham in the 1990s, Natalie Edwards struggled to find help with caring for her afro hair
Now, she leads workshops in north-east Wales to teach these skills and share knowledge
